There were a lot of times where a mass dispel suddenly fucked up my board and then have a bunch of mostly useless minions. Definitely a underrated card for traditional control priest.
Silence (the priest card) is actually pretty great for tempo priest, especially with ancient watchers to act like a psuedo innervated yeti. The tempo advantage is pretty nifty.
It appears that there was a leak where starving buzzard was 5 mana 3/3 + 5 mana leeroy ingame for a short period of time with dozens of players posting screen shots just recently.
Would seem that a test build got leaked or something.
The starving buzzard nerf seems questionble but a leeroy change does seem likely.
Man, if that’s true…I wonder what other changes we’ll get. Starving Buzzard looks ass now. Leeroy is definitely livable. It’s mostly a win condition anyway so the extra turn isn’t TOO much of a turn off.
I don’t even think that hunters were THAT bad, to be honest. They were a top tier deck, and people are doing backflips that buzzard is 5 (which I think is ridiculous), but your’e still gonna have crazy miracle/midrange hunter decks popping up now.
Priest, hunter, warrior, warlock all jostled for the “best” deck in the current meta. Thats REALLY good balance. There were seasons where only one deck was viable to top play, and the rest kind of floundered around below it–I never felt that way this season.
Kolento Paladin WAS the deck to play, until people figured it out, and then it kinda turned vanilla. Now its like a B tier deck. Same with druid.
Anyway, Leeroy is still fine. Buzzard is garbage now.
