Agreed. :woot:

Your loss. Enjoy the new SPD/Scrub pile driver. Not the old one is even difficult…

I used to play it on an old tube TV and thought the graphics were awesome… then I got a HDTV and goddamn the sprites are fuckin’ ugly. The lifebar glitch makes me want to shoot my mom and fuck her skull. But It’s still fun to play and I enjoy (when I get get into a room without getting kicked out in the first 2 minutes) the multiplayer.

Oh well, I can’t complain too much, it’s not like they worked on the game for 2 years.

Oh no, people trying characters other than shotos? The HORROR!

Sounds like the typical “Everybody’s picking my character! This game SUCKS!” kind of rant.

For some reason, before this game came out, I haven’t seen too many Dee Jays before…

why do people think their choice of fighting game characters gives them some kind of hipster cred

I think the same thing happened after Duc Do won in MvC 2 at some EVO using Spiral in his team, and then everyone started picking Spiral and everyone else was like “OMG STOP COPYING DUC DO, YOU BASTARDS!”

Funny how they’re the same people that complain about the big 4 messing up the game.

Solutions if unpatched: Run the 360 version, or just never change converters. Ever.

I’ve never had any problems with button changes on the 360 one, nor any weird gameplay glitches in offline play other than no music now and then. And at the least, if you don’t swap converters on the ps3, I’d wager that everything would be hunky dory on the button end.

(On PS3)

I’ve not run into the not being able to save my button configs, I have however gotten the lifebar glitch like 10 times(granted I play online alot…) usually I play with the glitch for like 5 more matches and just try not to ever get hit although not being able to see your/your opponents HP does significantly alter ones strategy…

Also the character rants are funny… FaceMeAndBeBroken all your major gripes with the game are personal biases… get over yourself…

It doesn’t save button config for the HRAP3. However, on my custom stick via Pelican converter, it does.

**Seriously. Bragging on the ability to do an SPD and Fei’s kick the old way means WHAT exactly? The only “pussy motion” i’m seeing is his squirting out period blood over absolutely nothing.

Calm your ass down, bum.**

I’m not one that prefers the easier motions and loose command interpretor, but it’s whatever. I speak from my own experience after playing vanilla ST for 3 years already.

What planet are you on where everyone can pull off SPDs and 720s? Does it bother you that people can play T.Hawk now without spending an hour in training mode to learn how not to accidentally jump? Is Dhalsim scrubby now because pad players can teleport?

I guess only scrubs want their input windows to be predictable instead of random. Man, Starcraft and Counterstrike got so much better when they gave your mouse clicks a 1% chance of failing!

**It’s nothing wrong with preferring it the old way. I can 720 better than I can the 2 half circle motions (never could do that without getting smacked out of it…especially if it’s a grab). I was just clowning on this re-used tampon for being condescending to folks about a fucking input command for a fighting game. That’s wackness unrivaled.

Just my way of saying “Why So Serious?”**

I have an ST board and I maybe had played forty minutes, maximum, of ST in my life. This includes time spent playing in tourneys.

Remix being the same game doesn’t even make sense to me it’s so much better for me-as-a-scrubby-but-interested player. I’m getting killed goofing around, and it’s still a marvelous time. I don’t get that in VF, SC, MK, or Tekken.
Remix reminds me why Street Fighter rocks.

I would wish to have a “Do Not Play Against People With Over 200 Ping” setting (plus bug fixes), but still: this is a marvelous job to me.

lol i bet you suck at st

I have a decent stick for both PS3 and 360: I picked up the PS3 version of HDR because I wanted to play my brother in Chicago who doesn’t have a 360. Turns out he doesn’t like getting beaten by you guys online(I’m not much better, to be honest  ), so I’m spending most of my time in quick matches.

Is it less buggy on 360? Specifically, is it possible that I’ll spend better than sixty percent of my time actually playing instead of constantly re-entering a lobby? It’s sure as hell isn’t my internet connection because HDR is the only game I’m having issues with…

I guess it speaks to how great the game is if I’m willing to drop another fifteen bucks to buy it again. Despite the shady lobby system, glitches, being far less talented than anyone else playing, and consistently(but not always) having to reset my stick setup, I can’t keep away from it.

PS: While we’re at it, if you’re one of those douche bags who doesn’t fight back until you have less than a quarter of your health bar, fuck you. I understand that playing someone with less experience and skill than you isn’t always enjoyable, but it genuinely infuriates me, even if I usually win anyway.

Nope. Everyone local knows I’m good. I think me and Legend were probably the only people here playing this shit the whole time. NOW, it seems like some of these are realizing what they missed. Their new interest still doesnt help them. Goes for anyone. Care for me to show you how bad I suck?

You have it on 360… I cant use that controller well, but I can use charge characters somewhat. I will show you the difference between someone who plays ST, and an HD scrub.

not sure if it’s better then ST but all I can say is I’m enjoying HDR quite a bit.

really enjoying the balance in characters.

so im playin today (yellow Dee jay) and im kickin some ass when i notice something. it seems like only s2thdr makes my mic go all wacky! everytime i play the game with my mic its nuthin but loud static which makes other players bitch and moan until i unhook that shit. when i put in another game that uses the mic, no problem. its only this game! anyone else have this problem?

also i remember seeing some vid on you tube where some guy was talking about how the game will keep track of how many fire balls you shot or shoryukens you did or some shit like that…was he just fuckin with us or sumthin?

and last but most important, do people get punished in any way shape or form for droppin out of a match before the other player can win? it happend to me 4 fuckin time today. i need to know that these idiots are gettin some kind of pay back for their runnin away.

as someone said up above, you know a game is fuckin great when youl play that bitch even if it glitches as much as this one does.
