I’ve used “apopleptic” in conversaion lots usually in the form, “I was fucking apoplectic!” so it didn’t strike me as a big word…actually, to be honest, I didn’t even notice it until raz0r mentioned it. “Stridency” and the way Vaughn’s character used it did strike me as strangely deliberate.
I’m pretty sure the actual killers haven’t been introduced yet. Remember it wasn’t until like episode 4-5 that we had any idea who we were really dealing with in season 1. Pretty sure these hippie psychologists are going to be involved, though…also, they’re going to have throw in some Mexican devil worship.
The shootout scene was great. I liked that it was really fast paced, I thought Farrell got bodied at least 3 times because of how fast the action was going. Glad there wasn’t any hero cop shit, either.
Am I the only one that had a rage spike when the girlfriend said that the pill isn’t 100%, knowing good and damn well she most likely just wasn’t taking it.
The knife she has on her, is that her mother’s? She seemed to go into trigger mode once she pulled that out.
If she dies in a knife fight by her own cutlass that would be pretty sick. That backlash would be legendary and only add more to the “TD is sexist” fire. She died by bare hands.
Also like that my Vinci mayor prediction was clearly true. Snitch detective also had mad screen time and dialogue. Why? Im not missing him. Just curious why the cholos went all spray crazy? People striking that much fear into em?
Nah…that cant be it. Her ptsd must’ve broken through.

Paulie is definitely the combat mvp. And he seems to have a really big thing for latinos. Im tryna find out what Black Mt did cuz he was completely unfazed by everything.
I really need to rewatch this weeks episode. Maybe it was the red wine, weed combination and another pirates extra inning comeback but I swear I remember Frank’s assistant dude say something about contacting the crow (maybe he said crew, fuck, I can’t remember)
