I went back to practicing with Axl. So back to playing with my main. I played with Potemkin a couple times. It’s stupid easy beating the computer(on Maniac) with him. Got bored.
Interest level is kinda ‘bleh’ over here as everyone is doing their own thing. We used to have casuals at a friends house but that was a long time ago. Main game played was T5DR and me playing GGXXAC. 2D is foreign territory with the guys I hung out with. Though a while back there was a guy that wanted to start up 3S over there, I don’t know what happened with that.
Bears, you still play AH? Have you seen AH2 stuffs? It looks good.

Yeah what happened to that guy that played 3s? Arcana Heart is collecting dust on my shelf alongside KoFXI. Anji and ABA are fun to play with. With ABA, I learned to use the system differently. I could spam Danzais all day(FB version is the best move in the entire game to me). I guess I went back to Axl because I think the way people play him now has evolved. I noticed when some players get that chance to do his combos, they try to make their opponent land into the corner so they can play some crazy oki.

I was thinking about replacing the buttons on the fighting sticks but they are built in a way so it has it’s own kind of buttons. The only thing it could be used for is the box. Everything else needs to be redone(wiring/PCB). It may seem like a cool idea to do that but if you could just build your own box, that’ll save you an extra stick.
I’m sort of in a process in building a box and once i figure that out, I have to learn how to wire. I have blue prints and maybe a jigsaw (if I find it). I just need some time, city mill is down the street from me and joystick parts from lizardlick.com. If I get anything done, I could sell boxes. I found a tutorial on how to make a box shine so it won’t just be a plain wood box. Then I might get into using plastic glass so you could put in a picture. I’m trying to go for a box as big as a folder paper (8’ by 11’)

Edit: Actually I saw a hori Wii stick have it’s buttons and stick switched. The guts look very identical to the fighting sticks so if you follow that, I’m sure it’ll work. I saw some soldering but I think buying a PS2 to Gamecube adapter would be better than buying a Wii stick then switching out the buttons.
I’ll take your word about the fighting sticks. I had a feeling they were different from the HRAPs.
Never heard of rollie sticks. Looks more like a Seimitsu than a Sanwa, but nothing is wrong about that. Looks good from the pictures. For $12 it’s worth a try. imo I usually just stick to the main brands. It costs more, but it’ll work well for sure.
I get all my parts from lizard lick. Shipping is fast. They got everything I need.
