I think the opposite; Guile is a good match (maybe good’s a stretch but it’s at worst 5 - 5) and Bison is a bad match. U2 being an AA again has helped a little but scissor kick pressure is really hard to deal with.
Strange isn’t it how people view different match-ups? I suppose it all depends on the quality of the people we’ve played against

I really think rufus > bison.
scissors kick pressure can be pretty annoying, tho.
I used to play this matchup with U2 in chocolate, but now i play it with U1 and I am pretty confident in me playing this matchup.
But I really think good guiles can give rufus trouble.
You’re taking your time getting in, once there, you guess wrong and again you’re pretty much full screen away…
It reminds me of the sagat-matchup, obviously its not as bad tho.
But once again I dont think rufus has to many bad matchups.
He is really really solid, with few bad matchups.
I don’t have a backup character, i play yun and adon too…but not to counter pick…
Boxer is a bad match, but not that bad if you have good footsies and pressure game…
Guile and sagat are the worst…they have All the tools to shutdown rufus, but it’s not that easy to make a good zoning game
I played a lot against good dictators in super days, and if he know the right way to rushdown you, it’s very hard to go out…also, he can punish with ultra All the messiah followups, include FADC…

Those are my ratios.
Rose eats Guile for free, and she is pretty effective against Sagat especially with her meter build and reflect buffs.
Either the guiles you’re playing are really good, or the sagats you’re playing are totally free ^-^

Thats just the ratio for playing random people in ranked matches, tho…
Obviously most of them suck pretty hard.
But you can still kinda tell which matchups are worse than others…
But I feel like the Gief mu is pretty much unwinable… assuming both players are pretty much on the same level…
I would say either Ryu or Sagat.
I second Sagat and it works out pretty well for me…
I was actually a Sagat mainer before switching to Rufus and I think they complement each other very well. Only problem for me is Blanka when I try to pressure him.
