mabad on startn the whole pad vs stick debate. i play on ps3 on a ps3 controller, and i also own an a 360 and i have a converter that lets me use a ps2 controller but i messed up the down button, so now i use that silver 360 controller with the twisty dpad thingy which is ok but i dnt feel comfortable on it, i guess when i play on 360 i feel like im playing at 60%, it seems like majority play on 360 anyway, imma buy a stick and whenever i feel like practicing on it do it, and eventually see which 1 i prefer, whenever i have money 2 blow to get 1, i guess buying the same fighters 4 2 different systems can also be considered blowing money lol

Hit up tech talk and look into dual mods if you’re going to buy a stick. It’s usually a lot easier to dual mod starting with a Xbox stick but YMMV depending on what you’re doing.

Its not that bad of a matchup for bison either, whoever gets the lead usually wins honda just has a slightly better chance at comebacks due to his damage output. Then again honda has no option selects, such a character stuck in the past how does he win.

Bison doesn’t have option selects against Honda. The matchup is pretty bad. Honda blocked headbutt does the same amount of damage than the punish afterwards. But there were a lot of stuff Jakob got hit by that was “wtf moments”. Sucks that he didn’t make Top 8 while only losing to one guy.

Xenogears complete, easily 9/10 ( I do like mechs, so i’m jaded) woulda been a 10 to me, if disc 2 would have been complete. Disc 2 wasn’t as bad as ppl made it out to be, like kota said, still better than most recent stuff for sure.

Mike Ross is a good player though. Made a lot of good reads. And headbutted at the right times to beat pc clean. He beat Jakob 5 straight, so it’s not like he scrubbed out and got lucky.

72hours, you can do it in about 64ish if you use a guide to get a few good items. I grinded to about lvl 90 to buy really good stuff to make the final boss trivial.

Starting FF8 now, so soon you will have my unbiased opinion.

gonna revise my score to 9.5, I think there is enough other stuff to make Xeno that good, cause disc 2 really isnt THAT bad, its just a tad incomplete at some parts, its easily still 20 hours to get everything.

Mike Ross’ reads are like that 8 sided die analogy I’ve been using, its always in his favor to guess. Regardless, he did play well, and his reactions and execution were on point. Jakob was doing some stupid stuff and didn’t know the match as well as mike.
