Pretty much just played Melee. We’d try to get at least 3 people so we could do the Black Hole glitch.

SSB Melee. Seriously, my friend recently bought another Gamecube and snatched SSB Melee for ridiculously cheap and we played it last night for a solid three hours. Fuck brawl, we’re going back to Melee.
A little older than childhood but in college I lived in an apartment with 4 other guys, we all went to the same school and Street Fighter III: Third Strike became religion to us. Everyday after classes we would play, I can’t even begin to imagine how many thousands of matches were played. When we hosted Friday night parties and people came to drink and have a good time, sometimes the Dreamcast would make an appearance and we would bust out mini tournaments which along with drinking became an incredibly good time. It was great because some of the kids weren’t even that into video games, never mind fighting games. Was awesome to see them see something like 3:S and immediately take interest in it. Good times.

Elementary school we would pull out the atari 7800 we would play drj vs bird. It would be hilarious when a person would dunk and the janitor had to come out and sweep up the broken backboard. when I had my nes it would be 7 of us and we would pick 4 teams a piece and play a complete season in tecmo super bowl.
lost many days playing with friends life force, hoops, double dribble, tecmo super basketball, nes play action football, arch rivals, and tecmo world wrestling… we would play from 9:00am till when the street lights came on during the winter… when I received the turbo grafx… i was the only person on the block to have one… everyone else had the sega genesis … we would play great sports football, basketball, takin it to the hoop, andre kickboxing. lost many weekends to these games with friends…
when in college … the crew i would hang out with were into anime…would play dragonball gt on the psx all day…was introduced to the saturn… every capcom fighter for the system was in heavy rotation from COTA to SFAlpha 2. We had dorm wars with teams of 4 playing fighting vipers, Virtua fighter 2, and Last Bronx… … when dreamcast was released it was all about the 2k football, SF Alpha 3, and DOA 2… And the game that messed up finals for many of my dorm mates was Golden Eye for N64
