I’ve never actually got into a fight over a fighting game. There was this one time when I got a guy into an AHVB and I mashed extremely hard because I had 1 of his helpers caught in the AHVB. It only took 2 AHVB to kill his helper and I mashed very hard and fast. After I killed his helper I was like smilling and nodding my head. I glanced over to him and he gave me this pissed off look with glaring eyes. It was kinda funny though when I thought about it.
Back when Mortal Kombat was fresh on the scene I was playing this kid at his birthday party(at a Mazzios pizza restaurant) and he played Scorpion. All he did was the spear…over and over…well he was beating almost everyone with that move. I was familiar with Street Fighter, so I was curious if I could do similar motions and have them work. I picked Sub-Zero and did the freeze on him over and over and he got pretty pissed. He started crying and his mom told me to leave…good times.
No, I haven’t, because I’ve only played fighting games in arcades twice, and both times I was there alone (played VF1 and 3 btw). Arcades are practically nonexistant in Finland and have been for a long time. Random machines here and there, mostly driving and light gun games, almost no fighting game sightings to speak of. There was a VF4 ver. A somewhere a few years ago and I saw TTT in 2003 but that’s all I know of. The last time I saw a fighting game machine in my town (some Fatal Fury I think) was in 1992 …
the truth La unified is shit. Anyway, one time i went in to a EB that had Marvel PS2 on display and saw that this chunky bitch playing it. After a while of browing around I played against her and won. We played a couple of matches and her boyfriend eventually took over for her. She was visually frustrated that she couldnt beat and said that she never wanted to play Marvel ever again:razz: . Her boyfriend got the same beatdown over and over again. After a while he was bitching to her I was cheap, to him I was using the same shit over and over again eventhough he just mashed LP over and over again(Wolvie,Hayato and Spiderman). I would try to do different shit but the controller was busted, whatever. After a while they both continued to talk shit nonstop. I got pissed but stayed silent in the final match I let myself lose thinking that if I won a fight might break out and I just walked away. I got my 20 wins, good enough for me.

Back in 2003 when i was hardcore in mvc2 there was this guy named charles. He was always talkin shit cuz he could never beat me… Blackheart/Cable/Doom would punish him… but i digress. One night, here on srk, he wuz talkin shit like i wuz a ole geek ass nigga just cuz i play games hardcore. So i posted on the louisiana thread and told him 2 meet me at the gameroom that night. I took two of my boys wit me 2 the gameroom. When we got there he walked into the mall to get sum food so i couldn’t fuck wit him. When i saw him comin back i got in his face bout it. He wuz talkin bout he ain’t want none but at that point it wuz too late for him. I walked his pussy ass outside and cut him off from runnin into the parkin lot. Two seconds b4 i wuz bout 2 blues da boy my dog said, “man fuck all dat.” and he punched him in the face. The first lick sent him into a daze and his chinese food went flyin. The second lick stretched him out in the street. My dog got on top dat fool and pounded on him for a coupla minutes until i ran and pulled him up off of him. We had 2 bust out after that. I didn’t go back to the gameroom til the next day but they said he wuz ko’ed for bout 5-10 minutes in a puddle of his own blood. Mall security wuz lookin 4 me and he threatened to call the police. Nigga wouldn’t be around today if he would’ve made dat mistake. He never even looked my way after that. That wuz prolly the most enjoyable nght of gamin i’ve ever had.

We are all very impressed by your desire to beat someone up over a video game. Honestly though, you should realize a large portion of fighting game players justify their losses by talking shit about people that beat them. This probably turned that guy off from competitive play, and many others too, just to save your ego. Good call there
Ah the good old day’s, I’ll never forget this day…Ive seen a many beat downs, and this one still stands out as one of the worst whipping to date.
For all yall that don’t know, this wasn’t really a online thing, we all went to the arcade daily. It was in the mall and we would play then walk the mall and chill. THE only one that had people wanting to fight him was this guy. SO it wasn’t E-thugging, he just talked alot of head online and in person he wouldn’t spit venom like that.
Sadly its not the only time a boy done got beat down in LA because of a game. If you gonna talk smack be prepared to back it up. NO matter what…
Edit: i’ll write more tomorrow, yall boys getting on here talking about how lame it is he beat this dude up. While the beat down was really really really bad, this dude caused alot of drama with people. (not me, i had no problems with em) After the beat down… All that ended tho. Sometimes it just has to go down like that for people to understand.

He’s the only Louisiana gamer to be hated by everyone in the state. He still manages to be lame even to this day and that was years ago when he got beat up.
