marvel is definitely serious bizness. niggaz used to get their heads knocked off cuz of SF back in the day. I remember every week or two somebody would come up stankin at the Bon Marche Mall in baton rouge. After sum years of people gettin the bizness they finally closed the movie theatre and the gameroom. Now people just get murdered at the club.
The owner of a pizza joint in Philly (temple Pizza) was choked after some dude lost too many times and was trying to get more quarters. The offender was a guy I used to play with all the time but I knew to throw a few games (or make them close) as to not inflame him. This dude was one of the guys that would always punch the screen thus breaking it. Sad really.
They took Marvel out and left some weak Megatouch game.
lmao yea thats pretty sad… but whats really sad is that they took out marvel and replaced it with (insert game here). /me sheds a tear. I can feel your pain.
Starting actual fights over video games? Not cool. I’ll admit, while I was in high school, I’d get pretty salty. Hell, I’ve thrown my controller and small stuff like that a couple of times after particularly heated matches, but never - NEVER - have I ever wanted to hurt somebody over it. Although, when I get salty, I don’t get angry at the other player, I get frustrated at myself for the mistakes I make. These days, I stop playing by the time I get really salty. I don’t let myself get to the point of throwing controllers anymore.
Even if the person I beat is talking shit, I just laugh it off. I find it absolutely hilarious, and I love it when I can piss people off just by playing a game and winning. It’s like, my favorite thing.
Another thing, I never seem to get salty when playing in person - only online. If I play offline with somebody, I just laugh at my mistakes. Which is why I would much rather play offline (but nobody else in my area seems to be interested in fighting games - other than my best friend). It is so much more fun.
But I do have to say, my 13 year old cousin has hit me (in the arm, nothin’ major) a few times after I’ve beaten him. It’s pretty funny, 'cause it doesn’t hurt, but it’s like I can see the salt flowing through him! XD
