Yes, a JLW is much stiffer than a JLF.
This is most likely due to it using levered microswitches and a big spring.
Slagcoin gives it a similar-to-stiffer Tension rating to Happ/iL sticks.
You could also try a Korean Taeyoung Fanta stick (need to drill in a 35mm hole & remove the universal mounting bracket though)
jlw sucks for fighter. i experienced it and hitting corners with a circle gate and severed switches just doesn’t work well
JLW is fine for fighters.
Whether it feels awkward or not is up to the user though.
hey i got the jlw but is there an 8 way gate i can get somewhere? i got used to the octagon and the thing says and 4/8way adjustable gate but it just puts it in a freaking plus shape
