An update on Mac’s arcades:
They divided up the room, there’s arcades on one end, and the other, dunno.
They still have 3S, have added MvC2, of which they brought from Mohawk (I’m positive because there’s, like, 70% of the characters unlocked, same as Mohawk, IIRC)
The Tekken games are still there (except for Tekken 4), and they still have that SvC, which is positioned dead centered in the back, taking up the most room along with a couple of racing games or something.
The area’s much smaller now, but they still have the important games, so it’s still good.
I noticed the rankings in 3S and people’s getting SS+ or something with Hugo, and a bunch of other lowered tier characters…how are they doing that?
As for Mohawk, the room is still cleared of everything.
I wonder what they’re gonna make of that room?
You had to know it was going to happen. At least he was good enough to fire off that blank shot. I’m sure we’re all experienced enough to know he was a ticking time bomb after that despite the “I’m better now” BS line he was feeding everyone. I don’t understand why the puke was orange though. Popeye’s mixed with cheddar cheese? That shit is going to be fucking NASTY today when the temperature heats up today. I can’t wait for the lunch crowd reaction. HAHAHA!
Wow, York U was probably the most fun I"ve had in a while. I’d just like to thank everyone who came out to play.
Clearly there were some GREAT moments in the day.
-Seeing Jimmy eat 8 pieces of Popeyes Chicken.
-Then seeing Jim drunk off Popeyes Chicken from the ours of 4pm until 12am.
-Then seeing Jim puke out the Popeye’s chicken and the nachos that he ate at Jack Astor’s. I guess that he doesn’t have an S on his chest after all.
-Curt and Darko going back and forth with the homo jokes was tooo much.
-Jamie will clearly be single for the rest of his life. 40 year old born again virgin? Team Hammer thinks so. (All you gotta say is “fuck you bitch”)
-Jamie being the biggest cock blocker of all time!!!
-Football coming back and filling in the void of the last 9 months. (How I missed it)
-Jim’s random comments “dood, that’s like a bike, but with a motor” “Yes Jim, that’s called a motorcycle”
-Getting fart gamed by Rey as he left my car, dood you were RAW!!!
That’s all that I could remember since I couldn’t get on to SRK last night. Anyways, we should do this again sometime. American thanksgiving? I think so!
ah, wish i was there with you guys. Sounds like a great time. fucking night shift kept me till 12 trying to fix major problems. Not looking forward to going to work today. :sad:

What’s a Pearl Jam? And why are they still around? Didn’t Grunge die out in 2000?
I knew Pearl Jam still plays, just didn’t know why folks still go see them play.
Grunge sucks because they killed the 80’s era hair bands (NOOOooooOOOOOooo, well, actually, they killed themselves with their lameness).
And deservingly so, they’re mostly dead now in place of another shitty genre; first pop, now rap and hip hop is taking ovar (it’s all aboot the bling, yo )
But they’re not entirely dead because a lot of these mainstream, so called “rock” bands now likes to play a fusion of different types of rock (a little bit of grunge, metal, classic), and yet, they all still sound exactly the same. Ironic.
I think I’ll just call their music Alternative Rock since they don’t really fit into one category. Unless Alt. rock is already taken.
Maybe these Alt. rock guys will take over once the hip hop fad is over. And the world goes round and round…
At least Pearl Jam’s singer (if they still have the same singer) has a different and unique voice. Too bad every other bands these days likes to imitate his vocals. Which makes for an unoriginal and uninspiring music that’s been produced/aired over the years, on top of an already dull and boring music from other genres. Ah, don’t you just love listening to popular/mainstream music? It’s great, perfectly suits the material world we live in!

And reason why Pearl Jam rocks these days is cause they basically just do their own thing…they don’t give a fuck about pop/mainstream shit anymore and just play(old stuff, new stuff, covers, whatever the fuck they want). They’re one of the best concert bands out there and a lot of people don’t know it. They definitely proved that last night cause people were on their feet from the start to finish and wouldn’t stop cheering/screaming/singing. My ears are still ringing but I love it. Likely going to see them at ACC on Monday too.
Nam, yeah, Eddie Vedder is still the lead signer. The only change in Pearl Jam has been their drummer. They have Soundgarden’s former drummer Matt Cameron now.
The warm up band, Sleater-Kinney(all girl band) rocked too…their drummer is insane not to mention hot as hell.
