The LAN is this week already!?!
Can’t believe the month’s almost over already, but I’m good for the party.
Saturday was awesome.
The tourney was fun to watch and participate in, the all-you-can-eat KBBQ was the shit (I fucking loved it) and the Unlimited Night thing alone made it worth the trip (just 5 bucks for hours and hours of free play? Fuck yeah!)
Highlights:
Keiyu caught a TO Urien player in the Urien/Remy glitch thingy where Urien freezes in a funny pose. Haha, everyone watching it got a good laugh out of that.
Rey almost won that last round for us if it wasn’t for that evil tree.
And the fact that Rey got that Makoto in the corner, pulled out the Tengu super and just sit there trying to bait that Makoto into using the super, but instead got thrown…Hahaha, in my mind, I’m like, NOOOOOoooooooOOooo…that shit was intense and fun to watch.
Jamie getting bitchslapped/verbally abused by Rey COUNTLESS times, shit was too funny.
I think we represent the city of Hamilton really well that night.
We didn’t place high or anything, but at least we gave some folks there some level of challenge.
Plus the fact that we don’t play as much as people from other cities but can still hold our own is something to be proud of, I think.
I might drop by for the LAN after work. Hopefully I’ll get some good MvsC2 action this time.

Small LAN thing, I just talked to Vanny and he said he’s not working Friday, so there’s no need to wait until 10pm to start CvS2. There’s no real need to have any timetable at all really. Just as soon as everyone is there, just do the brackets and start the tourneys.

i dont’ mind starting tourney’s early… but i have to have some kind of structure… since i’m the only one running shit… unless of course someone would liek to volunteer… i can get 3 tv’s… b ut i only have enough equipment for 2 units … wait not even… i’m short one DC stick… so if you guys can bring a second DC… and 3 more DC sticks… i can get everything done early if a couple of you want to run brackets…i’d love to finish it early so i can relax a bit after… but i need some help if you guys want it run that way.

I’ll bring my DC stick although it has a couple of issues so if someone else has one that is 100% that would probably be much prefered.
I’ll make brackets for whatever and run the shit if I have to. This is a just a local tourney with at most 12 people per tourney so I don’t see it being too much of a bitch to set up.
