Well, Vince is partially correct in that I’m a newbie in 3rd Strike since I don’t really know how to play the non-shoto characters.
But parrying and the basics and other shit like that (the old school stuff alike), that’s my forte, man.

Hey i think team rev has a good chance at beating team hammer. The whole teams game has improved. I can say i take things in a more strategic way then just all out attack like i did in the beginning. Vinces traps are getting much better. Ike has a hugo to watch out for on the dc anyway but we will see in arcade. Nam is better than me at parrying low attacks but my multi parrying and so on is better but all in all Nam and I are like the Super Parry Bros. of team REV. LMAO!!!
but all in all i think it will be close.

I’ve only played the game a handful of times, and I don’t even have a copy of the game to practice on. So what you see when you play me is me playing it like Hyper Fighting. You’ll be lucky you get 5 wins as a team. Nuff said!
About Thursday, I have this thing called work, so I won’t be there. Saturday I’m good. I guess team rev won’t be there for that. It would be nice to see you guys there though. It would be an extra 8 bucks in the pot that I’m gonna hopefully win.

Why are you worrying about a tiebreaker? Here’s how it’s gonna go. Rey is gonna go 4-0. You’re gonna go 3-1 with a loss to Mr. Roboto (He’s a parry beast). I’m gonna go 2-2 with losses to Roboto and Mario (Mario’s game knowledge alone will own me for free). And Jimmy will go 2-2 with losses to Roboto and Mario. So by my count, it’s only 5 losses and 50 bucks in my pocket. With the 50 bucks, Pho is on me!

honestly chono i would put the 50 bucks up myself but everything in my wallet that was important was stollen yesterday ie all my god damn money. Thats why I was not at mohawk for anyone that is wondering. Just an update for the Hamilton folks. I put in a request for a MvC2 and 3S cabinet for Eastgate Mall. The Distribution Manager says he’ll get right on it after I explained how your scene is trying to get itself together and needs the machines in one spot rather than one in Eastgate and one in Mohawk on their competitors machine.
Anyway; he’s also either done or going to talk to the manager at Fun Games and tell her to give you guys Event Mode for Saturday. Jaime has been named a contact person by me so she’ll only deal with him.
I hope that helps you guys out some.

it’d be better to get more machines at mac. there’s more competition for fighting games there and also the arcade is open past midnight during the school year. though we’ve been asking for machines there too to no avail.
