I’m hosting Madden 2007 & Slash tonight along with a $20 SnG or $10 PLO. Gaming starts at 10:00pm. Just to let people know, even if one person drops by I’ll be hosting for the simple fact that I need competition in Slash and I know nothing about this year’s Madden so it’s an even playing field.
You know that I’m in. I have no clue how to play either game. Be it vids or poker. But i have money that you can take from me.

My pokerstars story from tonight for people who like to laugh at me…True story I swear.
I enter one of those 4 buck 180 man sit n go things since there’s no interesting tourneys coming up. First hand I get KQ suited and raise it. I get called by one dude who ends up hating me a couple minutes later. I hit the K on the flop and bet the pot and get raised. I decide to be stupid and call and see what happens on turn. Turn is nothing so guy goes all in. The fact he might have aces did cross my mind but in the back of my mind I’m also thinking its just four bucks so I get stupid and call in case he’s just going nuts with something like KJ or K10. He turns aces, I hit Q on river for TWO PAIR Ks AND Qs. I feel stupid but don’t complain.
Guy goes nuts in chat…understandably so I suppose. Calls me the usual names and keeps refering to me as “she” even though my nick is "thatguy"jt so I eventually tell him bad beats happen, yadda yadda and that I LOSE TO RUNNER RUNNER FLUSH ALL THE TIME.
Anyways, I lose a hand later on with two pair losing to a flush to the guy sitting next to me. Next hand after, same guy calls before me so I raise with JQ and get another caller before that same guy calls. I flop a K high straight and TURN Broadway. Get a lot of chips back from guy next to me and kill the other guy with an all in for a monster pot.
Then things get fucked up. A few hands later I get KQ again. Hey that hand was good to me earlier, so I’ll raise. I get two callers, a chick next to me and some other guy. Flop comes Q 10 some other card and the chick pushes all in. The other guy calls to my surprise and so do I considering it was worth my while with top pair. We both check to river and hey…K on river. I river TWO PAIR Ks AND Qs again. I made a small bet and the other guy folds. Stupid me thought I won. Chick turns over A J. She rivered BROADWAY to take the big main pot. Ha, Karma is a bitch.
That didn’t hurt me so much though so its all good. Then things get more fucked up. I get KQ again later. I raise, get one call. Flop is K with two diamonds. I make a big bet and get called which automatically made me think flush draw. Turn is the Q of motherfucking diamonds. What the fuck? I’m first to act so considering pokerstars being as scammy as it is, I feel obligated to check. Should have thought that one over a bit and bet something. Surprisingly the other guy checks too. Meh, he could just be waiting to kick my ass with that flush on the river.
River is another diamond. I automatically know now that I just lost to RUNNER RUNNER FLUSH. I don’t have a diamond since the K and Q on the board are both diamonds. Guy makes a value bet that I’m forced to call considering the size of the pot and turns over pocket Js, one is a diamond. I’m suddenly crippled. Fucking pokerstars. Karma really is a bitch.
To finish me off, I end up going all in with J 10 a little while later in desperation and run into someones pocket aces. I finish out of the money in 44th. Fuck you Karma.
So long story short, I get KQ three times, hit two pair all three times and all three times it ended up being pokerstars river bullshit, winning when I shouldn’t have and losing on the river in some brilliant way that gives me two pair and the other guy a monster.
Add this to the fact that I’ve lost to runner runner flush an obscene amount of times when I’m way ahead after the flop and one particular horrible beat I took in a tourney that kept me from big money once(QQ vs AJ where flop is Q J 9, turn is 10, river is K) and I’m really starting to sour on this pokerstars stuff. This shit seems more scripted than WWE.
I’m up 50 bucks so I guess I shouldn’t complain too much.

I guess that it is. On Sunday at Dev’s house I cracked AA twice. The first time with 64 offsuit because the guy didn’t raise on the button and let me in to flop a straight. And then the second time was my favourite. Knocking out my best friend with 99. When the flop fell 6 9 J.
