yeah, i haven’t dealt with a lot of bot or cheaters, but I do get a fuckton of people who reset their router or unplug it or whatever, so it times out temporarily, then all the items respawn.
BTB is fucking unplayable. EVERYBODY quits, especially over stupid shit like not getting the Tank when u spawn, or not getting the level/gametype they wanted. And the game times out far too often. Whatever the penalty is for quitting, it aint enough.

Armor lock is pretty beastly im not gonna lie, especially if you play game types that have vehicles/ objectives. Its got so many uses that are actually a huge deal, but then again your trading away alot by taking it ( your always going to lose out on getting weapons to sprint/evade/jetpack users, which is a huge deal, you also lose out on the element of suprise which is so effective with jetpackers/active camo users. ) I wouldnt say overpowered by any means but it is definitley an armor ability that shows its strengths in combat as opposed to the others that are more or so used for suprise/mobility.

Also the armor lock shit, Jarekov is right. But if the opposing team has their shit together the guy poping armor lock will almost never die, because when he pops it off his teammates will show up/frag the area. It’s the reason I almost never run BTB/Team games without 1-2 people with me in party chat.
Taking a guy’s shields off then having to see him turn AL on while his teammates kill the shit out of me is one the most frustrating things I’ve ever experienced with videogames.
It doesn’t even have to be BTB. In smaller maps, Armor Lock is even more impressive IMO. Teammates can help the guy armor locking even faster. Run in, shoot a little, maybe throw a grenade, then armor lock. Let his teammates clean up the rest.
I think Armor Lock needs tweaking. It’s ridiculous that you can stick him with a plasma grenade and they’re able to Armor Lock out of it. Or they can Armor Lock out of 2-3 grenades in general. I think the more damage they’re blocking, the faster the time limit. Just like the drop shield and just like Camo (If you move around).
yeah, that’s kinda my point. Armor lock has WAY too many dirty abilities. Try using it properly in 2v2 and watch the other team cry
If you get caught unprepared, you can AL and call for backup
Power weapons dont hurt you at if you’re prepared to AL
Hammer, sword, shotgun, needler, AR, banshee’s, wraiths, and many other things no longer matter.
The EMP blast when you turn off AL helps kill people (I can easily take on two players as long as I have AL)
You can block off lifts and man cannons with proper AL usage
You can block people off with grenades and AL
and there are SO many more use’s for it (ie vehicle destruction). I have played entire games where everybody rolls with AL and the odd camo and jetpack players (2 abilities that are not as good as you would expect). I can almost guarantee it will get nerf’d in the future.
I love just popping it on randomly, and waiting for the idiot to start reloading then I pop it off and start shooting him in the face.
Spent my Credits on the Cortana firefight voice lol since I play that more than matchmaking and I’m happy with the way my spartan looks with the JFO helmet and the Commando helmet is only like 85k credits

You maxed out at Lieutenant Colonel Grade 3, you couldn’t go any higher than that, which also means you couldn’t access the armory unlocks that required the higher ranks.
Now that the cap has been removed, all the cR that folks who hit the cap have accumulated up to this point should reflect in their ranks, and more goodies from the armory are available.
I’m a Commander Grade 1 now, a guy on my friends list is pretty close to hitting Brigadier.

however, I still haven’t bought a single thing for my Spartan. Been saving up for the Pestilence effect (I’ve now seen it, and it’s SOOOO cool to have flies buzzing around you and goo dripping from you, as well as green/black blood).

the commander grade 3 symbol is so stupid looking, the symbol for brigadier is so fucking cool. Some kids were saying theres only like 10 people who are at general rank but i cant find any evidence of this.
i want the friggin haunted helmet, but i need to beat legendary with ODST first… frack!!!
Havent seen any Generals yet. I have seen LOTS of Commanders and Colonels and maybe one or two Brigadiers. I ran into a dude in Slayer with the fucking Gungir helmet already.
