I’m hoping my roomate doesn’t change his mind about buying this, I think he’s about to go into another “holy shit new ME2 content I’m playing it for 3 months straight!” phase. That was actually a mistake, you only get the $20 gift card when you buy the game, but you do get 500 points if you preorder it with your Gamer Reward Zone.
i think i’m going to play through campaign on my own first. Although i know coming across things as a group and sharing the experience is great - i know that much of the tension and impact of the narrative will be lost if we’re just cracking jokes and raping everything on site. Without skulls (if theyre in) i can’t imagine legendary standing up to 4 human controlled players who know what theyre doing, it didn’t in halo 3.

What they did this time around is put the option to turn the skulls on as soon as your boot the game up, but there isn’t any in the campaign, you instead get to collect things called data pads, and a bunch of other easter eggs.

Halo is the only game that I’ve liked it’s campaign, MW2 I played MP for about 6 months before stepping into campaign mode. Couldn’t even be bothered with GTA4

Zola’s been working on this montage for over a year, and it’s finally out, call it a last hurrah for Halo 3, and also the best Halo 3 montage ever made.

I’m bored of seeing the typical sniper/BT montage so I’m working on a hijack montage. I realized about 3 months ago that my wife has this habit of hijacking opponents Banshee’s and Ghosts constantly.
No idea, he makes all his own effects, and he’s gotten job offers from a few big studios, he’s a beast.
Yeah, they get a little boring unless they’re as well done as his was. A hijacktage would be kinda sweet.

All the reviews coming out are giving the game 9+/10, only neg are a couple of frame rate issues when shit gets really crazy, but that also happened in Halo 3.
I decided to give Halo ODST campaign another try, this game is underrated!
