^^pretty sure we’ll have our fair share of those. Just bought my copy of odst so I’m good to go for may; haven’t been hyped about a game like this for a while now and wasn’t expecting to be another halo game at that. :lol:
Well, it’s a sample of what could have been accomplished had Microsoft supported the film more than it did. Silvergun is correct though, it was directed by Neil Blomkamp (District 9) and he was 110% committed to keeping the accuracy and look consistent between the games and his film. WETA did an amazing job of recreating the Warthog and the UNSC Marine armor and weapons. I have all the HALO films saved to my 360HD - I probably watch them once a month.
Gonna check out Waypoint as soon as I get home.

Pretty disappointed by the full-length commercial for Reach. Just an extra 1:30 of the same stuff we already saw. I was hoping to see some Spartan action of some kind.
They went through the trouble of making the suit. Why not see some action to go along with it? meh. Oh well, still psyched for this game. Beta’s in 3 more days…

Has anyone tried expertzone? I just saw some dude post about getting a free beta code for Reach and after 3 or so minutes of registering and doing a halo quiz, I got one as well. The only problem is that the code doesn’t work but that could be cause it isn’t may 3rd yet. I still have odst coming so I’ll try both and if the code works I’ll sell odst right away.
EDIT: !!! I mistook a B for an 8 and now I’m good. Downloading the beta right now (1.17 gb or so)
Ya’ll should give that site a try and see if you can’t get one. I wish I knew about it before purchasing odst but I can sell that when I get it. Hope this helps anyone.
DOUBLE EDIT: Some people are saying M$ has closed that promo now but some people are still able to get through so no harm in trying.
I’m really looking forward to this game. I’m not a big fan of multiplayer FPS mostly because I suck at them. But I really do enjoy the escape they provide in the story mode.

I tried that Expert Zone trick and I didn’t get a code after completing the quiz.
yea, me too and it can only get better with the elites later on. The grenades are a mix of odst and halo3 so they’re accurate and go a little further but not that far.
I’m liking the runner and jetpack more so than the others. While running you can’t shoot immediately after stopping but you can throw a nade and after that you can shoot regularly. The jet pack is just awesome since it refills quicker than anything else.
I haven’t played long enough to memorize the weapon spawns but both brs are good.
I think you have to get 100% and if you did then the site could be going down from what I’m reading. Too many people are bombarding the server.

Elites are bigger, move faster, regenerate health without medkits, and have the evade AA. Spartans are smaller, slower, and need medkits. They have the Sprint and Armor Lock AA’s unique to them.
Camo and jet packs are universal.
