Yeah it’s a beginners bad habit. A gimmick that I’ve been abusing as of late. I just hope we can all help eachother and make Hakan a deadly force!
I’ve already used Hakan in a couple tournaments we’ve had up here, but soon as I’m done testing everything and start getting some more wins under my belt. I’ll share with you guys my set-ups, especially into Ultra 1. 
i can tell there are going to be lots of good setups and ticks for ultra 1, its just such a good ultra

I am new around here but I just wanted to post something about Hakan. I think there is a lot of hidden potential in Hakans’ grab-throws. Those moves where he dives forward and grabs and then bounces around the screen with you, or the minor version. But I think that grab mighty be a bit more powerful than people realize. In the videos I have seen, not many are “getting it”. He already has a lot of tools, but the anti-anything grab moves that are in his arsenal need to be perfected by players. I am no expert, just sharing my opinion with you all. And thanks for the links to the Hakan videos!

First: you actually can cancel a backdash with a normal, it just has to be early.
Second: using focus and dash normal canceling to dance around the screen while having a focus out most of the time
Third: focus, dash normal cancel it into cr. mk, buffer cr. mk into slide+followup
Fourth: you can input the followup to the slide immediately upon entering the command for the slide itself
This one’s a talkie, so you don’t really need to read this. There’s obviously a lot of work to be done in getting better at the 2nd and 3rd things and combining them with the things from Hakan Exhibition #2. This is just an early look at what’s to come.

Is his super the only way to use dive as an anti air. I get poked out of regular oil dive all the time but it seems like potentially on reaction it could be an anti air with the proper distancing. Was wondering if anyone had found any real links for his pokes yet it looked like you can link forward mk with a few things.
