oh man is Hakan awesome, I couldn’t stop laughing the whole time. The only problem I have (and its a very slight problem) is that SSFIV is getting dangerously close to being Saturday morning cartoon silly and Hakan is taking the cake, like silly to the point where Dictator’s “OF COURSE!” could be his taunt and his “YES, YES” would be his victory animation and it would fit perfectly.
but ill totally forgive it because his daughters ARE SO PRETTY!
(and i never want to hear another complaint about 3S’s freaky cast again)
And now i noticed why i thought his moves were low damaging.
His throws are different from zangief that instead of giving all the damage the moment the opponent hits the floor, the WHOLE PROCESS of the throw takes stamina away too.
For the record Istanbul (then Constantinople) was the seat of Christian power for quite some time after the Western Empire fell. While the city and most of the area was conquered by the Turks and was later largely slowly converted to Islam there is still a fairly sizeable portion of the population that is Christian (as it is in many other middle eastern countries). It’s not correct to simply assume that Hakan is both a Muslim and by extension a terrorist even if he might cover himself in flammable liquids and propel opponents with sufficient velocities to take down various buildings.
What is clear is that given the amount of oil he uses he must be very adept at salad tossing.
I’ll agree to this, SF4 sometimes feels like its a parody of itself. If any of you are familiar with the Evil Dead series, by the third movie, it has turned into nothing short of a comedy even though it started off as a serious horror-gore movie. Almost everything about SF4 from its color-palette, to character designs and quotes screams light hearted which is a marketing strategy to appeal to the lowest common denominator and maximize sale but to continue on this path in future SF games wouldn’t be wise.
SF5 would have to take itself seriously in the way SF3 did, with some light elements of comedy surely.
Yeah. But i was concerned at first with his damage potential. But his normals seems to have good damage, and with the extended range given by oil up he may be a prospect.
High dmg + probably high stamina+ ultra that may be used in a lot of situations + a special that goes under fireballs + buff = possibly a threat
