Yeah I know that, but I’m talking about hp slide and toward dash.
hp slide, fdac, f.dash has never been safe that I remember. Ryu can reversal SRK, Balrog can c.lp… so a reversal command grab should always grab you. A normal command grab shouldn’t grab you if you tech or jump.
The safe slides should be the same except lp slide.

Yup, it’s never been safe, but I’d always been able to tech throws or jump. The other day I was just getting thrown consistently. And I mean normal thrown, not command grabbed. I haven’t gone into training mode to really test anything or whatever, just my impressions from the other night.
Negative, you can definitely tech a normal throw. Slide fadc is unchanged (in all honestly I rarely fadc a slide unoiled nowadays so I couldn’t really notice anyway).
But no, its still -3.
I Just tested it on training mode and you should be able to jump. Could it be some lag or input error? If not, I would love to know how this could happen. Secret technology from your opponent?
Since this is kind of -3, could it be possible for your opponent to walk a bit back so your throw wiff and then he grabs you?

but when i try doing that motion x2…yeah. fail.
clockwise or counter clock wise doesn’t matter.
Ever thought about buffering? The concept of buffering is to occupy your character to do certain animation so that you can input the double circle + PPP without being stopped by the motion you are doing. So then, jump (as buffer), make sure you finish that motion when you land then hit PPP. easy as pie.
Further buffer masking during combo: use any normal moves to input the motion. So you can surprise opponent in mid-combo. example c.lk, c.lk (start from B, DB, D and continue to make one full circle or F, DF, D and continue to make one full circle press lk when your stick is on down so only c.lk comes out). When one circle is covered by your 2nd c.lk you have only one more circle to do like you do normal command grab which means that Ultra is ready if you press PPP
regarding his kick command grab
i wanna know if my opponent is crouching…does hakan wiff the grab?
coz every time i try to k command grab off their wake up, my opponent just crouches and i wiff it.
does hakan’s k command grab only grabs opponents when they are standing?
or can i grab crouchers as well and the reason i’m wiffing the grab is due to poor spacing on my part?
If your opponent is crouching, the oil dive whiffs. However, upon wake-up, all opponents stand for a split second, unless block stun or a crouching normal makes them crouch. Since oil dive doesn’t cause block stun, if they want to crouch, they’ll have to do a crouching normal, e.g. c.lk, to make the dive whiff. Your timing may be off; it’s not likely your spacing. Or your opponents may be using crouching jabs or something.
