this was my first actual game tournament and i just wanted to say that i had an awesome time. apparently i’ve wasted much of my life NOT going to tournaments and now that i’ve had a taste, i gotta keep it up. i didn’t get too far, but i learned a LOT from playing and watching. beating my friends isn’t enough, i love competition and hope to see you guys soon! ez.

p.s. i left my fight stick at home like a noob thinking the 360 controller was fine since i wasn’t good at doing some ultras or supers with stick yet. a mistake that will not be repeated. gettin’ my practice on. booyah.
eric is godlike once again. that was my only beef with this tourney, that shit before me and brandon’s match was ridiculous. plus for everyone that got MAS sticks, ps3 is pretty much the only option.

It was a nice venue, but I felt kinda locked in. Like there were a few times I’d have liked to have gone out and hit a convenience store or something or gotten some non-fried food, but I was trapped by $6 to get outta there. Other than that, it was great. I’d 100% go again.
yeah REALLY nice hotel, other than the whole 6 dollar parking thing. also they had like beverages there for prices that didnt make me want to kill someone, cept the atm (four dollars, really?)
I even tried to give him help, but starbucks, plus random manager saying “she’s trying to do her job sr.” = Epic Fail. Not to mention the random PJ party with the half naked girls walking around didn’t help that much either. Hmm, seems I need a good ps3 stick because tournaments will be mainly ran on ps3 these days.
Yes, Dr.Chaos does have the best ken IMO and definitely top 5 on the EC.
Despite driving over STRAIGHT from the gamestop tournament, sneaking into the brackets at the last second, and being tired as hell I had a really good time. It was nice playing and meeting everyone in 3s and HDR. I always have a blast at those games. SF4 i’m still working on… heh. Also, losing to Akumas = :sad: Also Paul Wall eliminated me in every game I entered lol.
Can’t wait til the next one, the venue’s sweet but I agree on it being a lil on the lockdown side. GGs to all.
