Does it change the gameplay or only the sprites? I think it does so I am just wondering if its gonna be remixed or original.

the sprites dont change the gameplay in anyway not that we saw in tournament we only used them for vanilla st for nostalgic purpose

when you choose remix or classic, it’s changing ONLY the gameplay. the sprites are chosen from a different option in the main menu, as is the music. they are all independent of one another.
also from what i understand if we were going to be playing classic we would just say we’re having an ST tournament, not HDR. when people say HDR, they are generally referring to remixed mode.
i’d be okay with doing either but i am definitely more comfortable with hdr.
