Anyone know some folks in the area that make custom sticks? If so please let me know I have been looking into actually putting forth the time/$$$ into getting one made.

Used to be but it’s gone now. There are a ton of people on SRK near and far who do custom sticks, your best bet would be to find one and send a PM. IIRC Canto posts in the upstate thread a good bit with his custom sticks.
no the happ store moved, but I can make you a happ stick, I have one I was going to use to make into a 360 stick I will bring it on sunday and you can tell me what you think.
I also have a case I can sell you if you just want that.
Believe me I was talking about SF4. You are not the only person that has slipped up on the greatness which is ST.

worst case, i will run it after SF4 is done but I would like it to run first. To do that I will need 2 more tv’s.
I am doing everything I can to make this enjoyable for everyone but I could use some help. if any of the NC crew could bring a CRT TV 19 or bigger with no lag, this will run a lot smoother for everyone.
Quick question about Dreamcast, do they lag on a monitor with VGA Cables? if not how do you think marvel would do on there?

Marvel will usually lag on HDTVs even when using the VGA box.
that is what I figured I will run it on a crt then.
It depends on the TV/Monitor, not the game.
Well they have several 4ms Monitors they use for thier pc’s do you think that would work? I guess we can try it out for casuals and if it lags we will move marvel to a CRT. Either way is fine i just want to have as many setups running as possible.

no you can do the standard ones and since 3 punches and 3 kicks is the standard setup for SF4 you can use them for this game only. But you cant do other button bindings like a focus or throw button.

Made an edit to the tournament time switching SC4 and T5dr. it was needed to have everything flow better.
Also unless something crazy happens and the voting takes a dramatic swing. KI will be the classic game. Also if the game is KI I am bringing 2 ps2 converters for the pc we will be playing it on. Good luck guys

Hey tak and filldoh is there anyway we can run a fun Charleston/Lower State Vs Upstate or something tournament for SF4? Like a 5 v 5 or something? Matchup people vs each other or something. It could then branch out to a more best regional thing like vs NC etc. I’m just asking this because a few of my friends and I from the Charleston area are coming up to play tomorrow and it’d be fun to see which “region” is the reigning champs and who can defend the titles if this is a recurring event.
