Oh and to The Damned, have you ever actually read Mein Kampf? I never got around to it, I am not sure if it was actually translated to English, and faithfully. But my understanding of Germany at that time was a heavy over representation of Jews and Zionists in banking, media, medicine, law and other fields. So Hitler was attempting to return Germany to native born Germans, by breaking up the economic dominance of Jews in Germany. It is always a good idea to read a work and understand it before commenting on it. That is why I read things like the Bible. A book or idea can not make a strong impact without having some sort of sway over a large portion of people at some time or another. To dismiss that as delusional ranting is quite foolish. Human events tend to repeat in cycles, the only real way to ever break a cycle is to keep information fresh and to constantly add to the collective intelligence of a people. I am afraid however humanity is quite stupid, so you will see the same thing repeat at some point. It will happen quicker and more reliably when the information is blatantly dismissed.

It was a pretty fucking tragic event. 77 people gunned down and apparently he stopped himself from killing more. He had his plans and thoughts written in a diary and stuff. Scary thing was that his posts on the forums he regulared looked seemingly normal from what I’ve seen. Thank god this doofus can’t plan for shit.
The main issue was the piss poor parenting. This explanation is normally overused and is often a blanket statement to find immediate fault for any problem with a youngster, but in this case it fits perfectly. Either both of his parents coddled him or more specifically, his father ignored him while his mother enabled him. Judging by his writings, his narcissism didn’t seem self-cultivated, more like the repeated positive reinforced mantras an overbearing mother would force him to recite until he truly believed it. His Aspergers wasn’t the root source either, but it served to further alienate him and make socializing even more awkward.
The reality is- this is actually a mental health issue more than anything else, because he was clearly unstable for a long time. Sure, there are many people out there with his perverse sense of entitlement, but they usually don’t resort to mass murder. As much as we try, we can’t make sense out of nonsense, which is what was clearly circulating in this guy’s head 24/7.
Sadly, I’m sure pro/ anti-gun lobbyists and most notably feminists are going hard on this topic, while ignoring the fact that this guy was clearly off his rocker.
