It is amazing, what good infrastructure and a bullet train or two can do to fix traffic issues.

You guys seem to be talking about two totally different things and are just talking past eachother. Certainly donāt seem to be talking about what brought up the initial comparison in the first place.
Edit: I also donāt agree with banning handguns, at all.
Without digging too far into it with some of the documents Iāve personally published for USDOT, you get issues like this when the infrastructure is not there or it is poorly implemented. Same could be true from any countermeasure to an issue.
