Gundam vs. Gundam next +

All im going to ask is how can I play with other people if I don’t have a ps3?

Your options:

a. Buy a PS3.
b. Buy a USB adapter supporting XLink Kai.
c. Invite friends over.

Hopefully later on this year I’ll have myself a ps3, but for now I suppose I should check out this XLink. Thanks a lot.

XLink Kai is a good purchase because it usually doubles as a wireless USB adapter and only costs around $20 USD. It just has a special XLink Kai mode where it acts as an adhoc gateway for your PSP, allowing others to connect to you.

Basically:
Your PSP == XLink Kai == Computer == Internet (XLink server) == Computer == XLink Kai == Other PSP

Keep in mind that you cannot use it as a wireless USB adapter for Internet connections while it is in XLink Kai mode. If you had two of them, you can have one in XLink Kai mode and the other for WiFi use.

Just got xlink set up, who all wants to play?

it’s awesome how my router just got all messed up. so right now im directly connecting through my modem. so lame. now to get around this…

So ok…

By any chance does anyone here know what “BGM Setting” is on the arcade version of Gundam vs Gundam (it’s in the menu selection).
Seems like turning it off or on does nothing to the music… so…

WE NEED TO SOLVE THIS MYSTERY!!

If it’s not bricked through a failed firmware update, simply reset the router to factory settings by holding down the reset button for 30 seconds (length of time may depend on manufacturer).

Once completed, log into your router (URL: 192.168.1.1) and setup your network.

The default credentials are usually admin/admin, admin/(blank), or (blank)/admin.

Added:

Isn’t that just what you want to hear for the menu music? I suppose it’s kind of like how in Jump Ultimate Stars (NDS) you can pick who greets you on the main menu.

just looking for players for this game. posted in online matchmaking and regions, but no respond.
Are there any people still playing Next? please let me know

Bit of a necro, but can someone explain the appeal of this game to me? When I gave it a brief try in the arcade it just seemed like another clunky licensed mech game to me, compared to VO / VOOT.

But I’m surprised at how it takes #1 in the Arcadia rankings month after month. Why is this so?

It’s actually really fast and not clunky. Do you know how to NEXT Dash? (double tap boost). You can also cancel any action into next dash. The main thing to punish is landing lag (a single next dash takes half your current boost).

In VO, it was all about dash shots and “thrust vectoring” ie. dashing in the correct direction to dodge the enemy shots whilst preventing them from dodging your shots.
Along with pressure from your rapid fire weapon and neutralising attacks with your grenade weapon. And melee.

What kinds of tactics/strategy/gameplay are found in GvsG?
