You know, on that subject, you could probably take out your stick and buttons, too. They aren’t needed in order to complete any modding, and that’s just more weight. Since you’d be sending an SE, it already has the QDs and wiring harness anyway, so that’s all you’d have to plug in once you get your case back. Just a suggestion.
I forsee a problem with that though. Unless gumm has parts for an SE laying about to test functionality, the only way to test would be the “ground wire to data points” test. Personally, I’d rather have everything finalized and tested before shipping it back…but that’s just my opinion.
Yes you can remove the metal plate and stick to reduce size/weight. I can place the chimp elsewhere if your concerned about it blocking your way of replacing components.
I doubt taking the buttons out will help out too much on reduscing weight. However taking the stick out can help reduce the overall size and make it easily fit a smaller box.
I have extra buttons and joystick to test with. Also the TE/SE have the QDs so it’s not a big deal.
Anyway’s, back to work I go. I have to finish making some rj45 cables and I have a non-common ground stick I have to dual mod

Finished D-O-$ingle_G’s stick. Dual modded his Hori Pro EX-SE with a ChImp board. Had to do a common ground mod on the hori board.

I’d be interested in getting the 360->Mc cthulhu + imp + rj45 mod + detachable cords: $150 done to me TE stick. But I have one question. Can I just get 360->Mc cthulhu + imp + rj45 mod. Meaning get it done without the detachable cables? I really don’t need the cables just the stick.
But out of curosity which cables do you provide with this mod?

Got my stick back. The work Gumm did is top notch. The inside of the stick is neater than what I sent to him. And the speed at which the entire process was done was sick. I shipped the stick to him on Tuesday, got it back completed on Friday. (though I do live in Richmond :b). Everything works as it should. Give this man your business. Should I get another stick or something, I know who it’s going to first =)
Just a heads up, I’ll be out of state today for a tournament.
Got back home at 5:30 am! Only took me 4 monster energy drinks to keep me up XD
