Gummowned! That is freakin’ amazing! I already love it. I can’t wait to get it next week. Thanks again, my dude.

Nice! Cant wait for mines, I hate playing with my controller. Please finish it soon its been awhile. LOL

Already shipped it out. It will arrive tomorrow.

YESSSS!! IM EVEN MORE EXCITED!! I was assuming it was not done cause you didnt post it up.

EDIT: Got the stick in today, everything works just how I expected and I love everything about my fightstick now. I would definitely refer you to people who needs mods done. This is some sick work!

Thanks again!

Received mine yesterday as well. Phenomenal job Matt!

So are the LED light up different colors regardless of the color shell of the button?

In that mod I used rgb fast fading leds and toodles FGW led controller. The shell of the button has to be clear white in order for the different colors to shine through.

If getting a led mod done that will have the led colors change in any manor, you have to use clear white. If a different transparent color shell is used, then that color will pretty much be the only color you’ll get for the led.

Finished two sticks for hknishino.

Dual modded a HRAP for PS3/360. Installed a Neutrik USB jack.

Multi-Console modded a HRAP V3-SA. Installed the Neutrik RJ45 jack inside the cord compartment. Also installed a switch that will swap the mapping of Start and Select.

Will you be attending EVO 2011 this year? If you are that be great for my friends and I.

I wouldn’t miss Evo for the world.

Ryan, you don’t like me?
Laugh.

BUMP for mr. Gummo. great work sir.

I got a request from Cyn to mod his prototype VSHG. It was quite a treat to get to mod this prototype and see what major differences there are from the final release. The weirdest thing is that the select/L2/R2 buttons are fake buttons, just pieces of plastic discs. Plus there is no home button and that the pcb doesn’t work on retail PS3 systems or PC, just dev PS3’s.
Here are some pics of the stick before the mod:

This is the finished modded stick. Installed a 360/MC/Imp2/RJ45 jack. Swapped all the buttons/balltop with yellow. Installed two 24mm buttons on both sides for Home/Select and L1/L2. Changed the button mapping to match the default TE mapping.

Matt did a great job for me and was very professional. Super fast mod work and return shipping. Top marks.

Hi Gummowned,

I have a mint VSHG sitting around. I don’t use it because the stock PCB is a bit inconsistent. I would like to dual-mod it using a PS360 pcb but keek the original USB cable. I assume the PS360 pcb auto detects? In other words, I still want it to look stock. The only big hurdle I see is getting the daughter board of the VSHG to play nice with the PS360 pcb. The reason I don’t do it myself is because I don’t know how to keep the original USB cable. Is this a mod something you could do? What would it cost? I don’t have a PS630.

PS360 does not Automatic Detection.
Making Daughter Board work with PS360 is no problem.

You are better off getting the original PCB replaced with a 360 fightpad plus dual strike. This would get you 360/ps3 with auto detection. I can still make the USB cord look untouched. Cost would be $110 plus shipping. I can also remap the buttons if you want at no extra charge.

how much would it be if you just soldered an ethernet cable to the mc cthulu and shipped it out to me so I can put it in my te? I know how to install, just never soldered before.
