i own the 2 systems, but i want it on ps3, if it drops on 360 i dont care, more people would play the game that way, and asw would have more money for make more brilliant games
I miss guilty gear 
All my games and my PS2 were stolen about a year ago. I havent felt like getting a replacement since I might as well get a backwards compatible PS3 if Im going to do anything. Theres tons of reasons why GG is my favorite franchise but lately things have been looking bleak. AC+ is good and all but really I think everyone is starting to get tired of all the updates. WHAT SUCKS is that supposedly because of Sega owning the rights to the “GGX” series or whatever, it doesnt look like a brand new game is going to happen any time soon.
BlazBlue looks cool but i just dont think it will keep me as interested as GG did. Besides its kind of off putting to me that someone other than Ishiwatari did the designs and yet so many characters are similar to GGs. I’m left feeling like “why cant I just play Ky?”. I dont know, is it just me?

I have the impression that Arc launched blazblue to have their own franchise, and not be dependent from Sega for the GG one…
I am dreaming of a new GG, but I guess we’ll be playing AC for long years before a new version comes out.
(I bought the Naomi version of AC, it’s pretty cheap now, and if it’s the last GG version, I wanted to have it in its original arcade format…)

BB chars are like GG chars without the originality/charm IMO… There is no one I feel like maining in this game.
I managed to get a pretty decent level at GG, it took me long years to achieve that.
I am not very motivated to re-learn everything from scratch with a char I don’t really like…
I only wish Kliff were tourney legal because he’s a dwarvish-looking old guy with a huge sword. Like the character design, don’t really care about the moves/potential overpoweredness/being a tier whore, I just like the guy.
Of course, I also like Slayer, so if I ever start playing GG seriously I will most likely main him =D Shame there’s no one quite like him in Blazblue…Yet.

They’re eventually putting someone like him in BlazBlue Nocturne Crescendo Complete. Just you wait and see.
I’d like to see both Kliff and Justice rebalanced. They’re both fun characters to use with some badass character design.
I probably will still play GG even after BB comes out. Though I haven’t focused on GG for a while since I’ve been playing SNK Fighters (no brainer there, been playing everyday) and SFIV.
I’ve still yet to get all the other GG games I’ve yet to get: X, X Plus, XX #R, XX/, and this game.
The only character I’ve been maining in GGXXAC right now is Order Sol, possibly Jam.
I’ve been meaning to ask for all you guys. Which GG game is the most balanced? I’ve heard varies debate between #R and AC.
R# was pretty balanced Id say, every game since then it seems like Eddie got really good and never looked back. OS i think has always been pretty beefy, Ky went up in Slash but leveled out after. Id say its pretty close between #R and AC but I love AC for all the new moves they added. I felt it was the first big upgrade (besides characters) to come to the game in a while.
yea right… Eddie in Reload was like his most brutal incarnation. Slash Eddie was the weakest in regards to the rest of the cast. If anything, Slash was sorta most balanced, but AC is also balanced in the regard that everyone can do shit tons of damage.
Slash OS would like some of what you’re smoking, because he was pretty damn terrible in Slash. But then again, almost everyone was terrible in Slash, so it didn’t really matter…

I am definitely grabbing a copy of ggxx:ac+. I’ve been playing the guilty gear series for almost 7 years now and it is by far my favorite fighting game. Street Fighter 4 is a close second.
So, is this on the 360 or PS3 with GGPO yet?

11 years now. Been playing Ky the whole time, and loving it! GG is just kind of sentimental to me. It was the first video game that I actually picked out for myself with my own money. I had always loved SF and the Marvel games and whatnot along with any random fighter i could rent. Then I saw a full page ad for Guilty Gear in a gaming mag. The picture was of Ky doing a vapor thrust while Sol did tyrant rave. The words in the ad said something along the lines of “2D anime inspired gameplay!” Heavy metal soundtrack!".
I thought it was too good to be true. All my favorite things coming together. I loved anime, I loved fighting games, I loved heavy metal. Its been a love affair ever since. My friends and I played the HELL out of it. It seemed slow at first compared to how we played Alpha 3 with the speed turned all the way up (stupid I know), but eventually we realized just how fast and crazy the game was. It died down after a while, I got a dreamcast with sonic adventure and KoF:99. Some time went by and I saw the first news of Guilty Gear X. My brain exploded from the awesomeness. I seriously turned my friends off of the game because of how geeked out I got about it.

Yeah I started with Guilty Gear X, then XX, then blah blah all the way to Accent Core. It was also the first fighting game I really got into, even though none of my friends liked it cause of the character design,and they were all big street fighter fans. Overtime though, my whole group came to love the game, and it’s prob our favorite game to this date though. I’m going to miss the cast.
Blazblue’s characters just dont interest me that much. It seems they tried too hard if you can understand that on being unique, and the just dont look appealing.

Oh I’m definitely getting it. I just haven’t decided which system. I think I’d prefer the PS2 version so I can play it on my PS3, but the normal GGAC didn’t work on my PS3 (80gig) and I’m not gonna chance it this time. Plus I already have 4 game systems set up to my tv at a time, so no room for my PS2. I wouldn’t mind the wii version, but I dont have a classic controller or stick and both the wii and gc controllers suck big time with fighting games.
