This is just…the greatest news. I’m so happy I’ll actually be able to play this again. It’s been way too long.
It’s a good game. More importantly it is confidently designed and mostly original as the fight man genre goes – so from that bygone era of GRRR HARDCORE games people fetishize! You all will probably like it!

Blazblue is alright, Guilty Gear is just that much better.
Great news. I had always wanted to play Guilty Gear, but I could never really do so because the game simply wasn’t available in my country and there were no people to play with. An online release should give this game a much needed popularity boost, which is all it needs. 
Easily the best thing to happen to GG in years. And it goes along perfectly with how Ishiwatari has been hinting at how he’s ready to unveil his “secret project” sometime in the near future.
Anyway, guess it’s time to bring my Order Sol and Zappa out of retirement! :clapdos:

So the REALLY hard part I gotta decide…should I concentrate on GG or Skullgirls? I love the HELL out of GG but I’m just plain not very good at it…it looks like I’ll really love SG too from what I’ve seen.
I just know I won’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of placing in a GG tournament.
I’m absolutely ecstatic about this announcement. Skullgirls, Extend, Vampire Savior and Accent Core will be my fighters for the next two years barring some amazing update for UMvC3. I’ll put some time into SCV on the side once I get it a bit cheap…

Why does it have to be one or the other? Everyone should just buy the GAMES they like instead of trying to be the greatest there ever was on a single one. Sometimes you can even learn useful things from different fighters.
Also, Skullgirls will surely have the best tutorial for fighting games in general since VF4EVO which is pretty important for someone like you too…
I never really got into Guilty Gear, granted I did buy Accent Core+ for PS2 back when I had a BC-compatible PS3 but I never got around to playing it. also, I can’t wait to get bodied on both Live/SEN in this game.
