Loving the game but 2 gripes
1.I’m playing this game mainly offline 2 player w my roommate and only one player can choose the extra colors in both arcade and vs mode wtf???
2.As said before they need to update at least for the +R version for the huge borders around the screen!!! I refuse to play on anything other than a CRT for fighters, I’m lucky enough to have a 36" but it shrinks the game so much I mine as well play on the PS2 if I’m playing offline
There are some visual changes you can fuck with in the options.
I think I selected screen type 3 and stretched it out… it zooms in as much as possible to the game field - but I use an HDTV at home… this test was done at a friend’s place.
Dear god I hope the patch helps this netcode.
Netcode seems tight in NY.
I played one ranked, got my ass busted the fuck up, and never had a single lag spike - on PSN, which is always considered trash.
Make sure both players have a button set to the taunt/respect command, that is the button needed to select extra colors.
I get some pretty good connections in quick match, but there’s always that super laggy one that comes by that I have to force myself to play through.
I’m learning how to play like a tournament player from Drew Throwken and Destin. They keep destroying me but I’m getting better.

You’re talking to someone who started playing fighting games with the original Street Fighter. Trust me, when I became good at MvC2 that took a LOT of losing in CF before I learned to win. I was just posting to show people here I play other games.
Hrm I got it for ps3 ive had some weird issues… randomly the game stops reading inputs and stuff… Especially at the character select screen its pretty… weird… Also for some reason its not reading controlers correctly anymore through convertors… Like all the buttons or directions dont work. Its pretty weird. Oh and of course the online has been terrible when ive tried to play. Other than that… not much to say…

For some reason the PS3 version doesn’t seem to have random music select, while the 360 version does. I have no idea why that is the case, perhaps it will be fixed in a patch someday
As much as I honestly love GG music, I have just bEen playing with bgm muted and just sounds and voices on and I just listen to metal on my mp3 player speakers. I just get a little tired of hearing the same songs over and over. When I play at the arcade it’s so loud I can’t really enev hear the bgm lol
I would still pay disgusting amounts of money for DLC music from Isuka or Korean #Reload, just for variety
