Every time I’ve got a throw escape in this game I’ve just been mindfucked and eaten whatever my opponent throws out.

Same. Every time a throw break happens I’m like “Shit, I didn’t even try to do that.” and then I pause after. Throw breaks are pretty tight in this game.

I guess this would be a good as time as any to start being more like Nino Brown.

Throwbreaks in GG feel like that they aren’t there to help you avoid getting thrown or to escape throws, rather to completely bypass the issue of which throw gets the priority in case of a throw-throw situation.

Which, in the end, that shit still happens.
Ever seen what happens when 2 people both hit forward heavy at the exact same time? No throw break, not even a throw.

Also, neat trick:
So you do a DP, and your opponent tries to punish with a throw for whatever reason. If you’re mashing forward or back HS for a throw, even tho you’re still in recovery, the opponent won’t be able to throw you, but rather his HS animation still comes out.

GG is buggy as fuck, but I love it.
Also, don’t forget you can also FD your throw break animations for instant recovery. I think this is for air throws only? I dunno.

In AC if both throw at the same time you get a neutral tech animation. If one guy throws and the other guy techs it (means he pressed a bit later) then you see the throw almost coming out and the guy who did the throw ends up with + frames.

This is 100% false and isn’t hard to prove otherwise. If two people throw at the same exact time at the same exact frame you get no throw, nor any type of throw animation. Read my post above.
Don’t believe me? Do some research, guy.

Granted, it is hard to get confused with this info. As miss timing the throw break glitch will get you a throw break. However, when both players do attempted a throw at the exact time, the end result is my post above. Throws are glitchy as fuck in GG, and the throw break system only made things worse. Not to mention you’re able to ground throw air bursts… how the fuck does that even work? Don’t bother finding out.

It’s scheduled to be released on October 24 in Japan, and they said that they are working on a simultaneous worldwide release so expect it on (or around) the 24th. They are releasing GGXXAC+ and will patch it to +R eventually.

You really think that Arcsys would design a throw break system specifically designed to stop throw attempts done on the same frame or 1 frame apart, and then somehow fuck this up by having it not work half the time? And that said glitched throw break system would make it through several in-house tests and loketests into the final product?

Hmmm, that’s interesting.
Could be specific version of the game, as I’ve actually had old video proof of my copy showing otherwise (and everyone discussing a long time ago about, all agreeing).

To be fair with the fool, maybe, just maybe the glitch could be part of the original japanese GGAC, after all, that version of the game had many glitches that were not present on the arcade or the subsequent ports of AC.
I know that i have never watched or experienced what pozer says on the arcade or my ps2 copies of the game, but who knows, if on the 1st jap version this could exists.

If this site is reliable than it should be out on the 24th in the US
