My prediction is that the +R update for PSN/XBLA will come a short while before the Vita release (probably a little over a month before).
Whens the vita release? I thought it would come out around when BBCP hits the arcades. Although this reasoning might not work since an update means an update to all regions, so i imagine they dont want BBCP release and +R update too close in Japan.
The safest bet taking their previous console releases as an indicator, is between 5 to 8 months after the arcade release of the game.

I hope something changes with this new slayer. Like new combo routes are figured out, because before it was like any hit was going to be between 1/3 1/2 life if not more. Now its like alot of hits lead to a knockdown into 6k,2k. Its been a bit since I played but I was pretty disappointed with the Slayer play at this point. So far the most damaging thing I saw was going for a 2s pilebunker rc combo…Oh well here is hoping for more

So do you guys think Arc will include some kind of trials mode a’la BlazBlue to help newer players figure some things out about the characters, or do you think they’ll leave it as is? I definitely think something like that would help remove some of the perceived mystery about GG and could help some folks break into it.
Who knows, the best thing that we can assume is that we would only see the modes and features of GGAC+ from PS2 and Wii, also remember that they would release GGAC+ first and GGAC+R later as a patch, so they would have to do trials for both versions.
Got my friends into Guilty Gear the other day (we were playing XX Reload). Told them about this rendition and they are already hyped about it.

This got me thinking that the home version of +R was delayed to get a possible patch first for the arcade edition? And then that would be ported to home?
Dunno if they would give GGAC+R patches like most recent games, there is always the possibility of it, but about the game being delayed, it is more about ASW always leaving some time window between the arcade release and the console release, after all a good part of their income comes from the arcades.
This pleases me. Decided I would pick up Kliff for R.
