Guilty Gear XX Accent Core PLUS R: New update for GGXX! coming to Arcade, PSN, XBLA and now Vita!

Ah, fucking hell. At least the Skullgirls patch is coming out tomorrow.

It’s over.

Excellent series dude, good shit.

Yeah this series paired with other GG tutorials out there really shame a lot of other games

Such as?

How is the netcode for this game when the connection is good, FRC’s pretty reliable? Someone should start a Facebook matchmaking group for this game.

When it’s good, it’s good, but keep in mind that quality is relatively arbitrary and rare (I get unplayable lag with people within 20 miles of me).

If you mean the tutorials this one is great to go with GB’s

Did you make this? That seems like a font you would use

I meant the “puts other games to shame” part

Oh that? I meant that when I was thinking about it, there doesn’t really exist a series of tutorials like this for more mainstream games like SF and Marvel

Yeah, a full character set of tutorials would be dream inducing, especially for games like Dead or Alive and VF5FS, seeing how both these games rely on knowing your character and matchups ship-shape. Tekken’s situation regarding this is being resolved by the Morning Bread and Butter series, but not much else in a complete series elsewhere, as far as I know. So yeah, kudos on that.

Rejoice US PS3 players…maybe

The comments, though…

these dudes ain’t got any type of patience. Yea it’s been delayed so what? Shit happens get over it and move on.

Waiting several months for a patch that had been finished for months and even put out in other regions and consoles means we earned our right to bitch about it taking so long.

Which game is harder Guilty Gear or Blaze Blue? Sorry to get off topic.

Both games have hard AND easy stuff for every level of play.

Shouldn’t matter. Play what you like.

The reason I ask. I was having a conversation with my brother he think Blaze Blue is harder to learn than Guilty gear. Wasn’t sure if this is true, I haven’t played the latest Blaze Blue or Guilty Gear. I Plan on getting into Guilty gear series I Just wanted to know.

Well then, I’d say Guilty Gear does technically have some harder things like FRCs and “hidden” mechanics like FD brake and jump install, but if you can play Blazblue well, you can play Guilty Gear well, and vise versa. One thing to actually keep in mind is that Guilty Gear, while it does have legit tough things, there’s also a lot of on paper difficult stuff (for example, the concept of clean hits seems a lot harder than it really is).
