It forms a bunch of roses that show up behind her. She can use them to put her opponents in extra block stun or extend combos. Think of it like Order Sol’s grand viper, except always following her, even in the air.

Seems like character choices were mostly who was in the original Guilty Gear followed by their relevance to the storyline. The top 5 returning cast members I’d like to see would be:
Zappa - He adds nothing to the storyline but I’d think the animations for his summons (especially Raoh) would be fucking gorgeous with the new engine.
Johnny - Need more Norio Wakamoto.
Dizzy - The storyline of GG Overture had Ky seal her with Furinkazan to prevent her from disappearing. Xrd takes place after Overture, iirc, and Ky is using Furinkazan so she should be back now. Plus, her animations would also be gorgeous with the new engine.
A.B.A/Baiken - Personal preference.
Robo-Ky - Since Xrd is using #R as it’s base I think Robo-Ky would be sick in this game since #R was his best rendition.
I’m guessing that Ramlethal would be the first new playable character in the game via time release. I’d expect Sin to be the next playable character after that since his game model is already built in the engine. I’d like to see one more arcade time release character after that before the console version drops. We’ll probably get 2-3 characters with the console release that will then get ported to the arcade version after wards ala BB:CP.

Stuff like this makes me refuse to believe she’s anything lower than high tier.
People need to keep in mind that the current tier list is early and tier lists in general are always subject to change. Game’s been out for 3-4 weeks and people are going off of previous GG character knowledge and what they know of the current game engine, which is still being experimented with. I expect Bedman to fluctuate in the tier list once people figure out how to use him or until someone finds that one exploitable thing with the character like how Dio figured out Carl’s clap loop in BB:CT.

Rammy’s lookin hot. Love the sexy outfit. Her playstyle sounds unique, really interested in how she turns out.
The dark-skinned sista has arrived! 
I love the brown, but I think I’m the only one that noticed that in her boss introduction before she fights (when the camera starts on her feet then spins around her as it brings up to her face) that the soles of her feet were just as brown as the rest of her body. It was as if she didn’t have the natural, pinkish/fleshy tone as people do. Then again, I’m asking so much detail from ANIME
I for one cannot wait for Anji to come back, although I have a sad feeling he’s low on the list of characters to bring back, lol.
Also,playable Rammy, cool. Although let’s be honest dudes, we all saw it coming! Now I wonder if they’ll “shrink” her swords from boss Ram to playa-ram, like Nu12 in BBCT.

Zatos nerfs force him to play more of a neutral game. GOOD. Work for those wins. He’s not gimped but that braindead rushdown was definitely cut in half.
I thought there was no such thing as brain dead in GG, only cut throat high execution barriers.
