From what I noticed, it has to be Ky’s opponent’s match point, Ky has to be about 50% health remaining, and slammed into the ground like a ground bounce or a similar affect. So if Ky goes 0-2 in a FT3 round game, and gets hit by something like Riot Stomp at around half health, his hair will fall down. Then if he’s able to bring it back 3-2 in a FT3 round game, then we actually have a chance to actually listen to the theme. I’m not so sure on consistency of the knockdown prerequisites, but for sure it does come off on a knockdown and I have seen it consistently come off on slam knockdowns. I’m not so sure if it came off on sweep knockdowns, but I think it may have in some cases if I remember; that’s why I’m fuzzy on that detail. But I know for sure I’ve seen Ky’s tie pop off consistently on the opponent’s match point rather than on last round.
Match with Holy Orders (around 7:15), it just looks like Ky has to be at low health with the opponent on match point. It starts playing in the second round and plays until the match is over.

People are still figuring out their combo’s and set-up’s; the game has changed pretty dramatically so give it time. Nage’s Faust has been the most on point so far if you’re interested in that; and there’s a whole lot of video’s out there with very interesting beginnings combo and set-up wise…there is ALOT of potential.
And get hype for Axl Bomber loops, because he has them again. I just hope Baiken still has her old Dustloop back when she’s released.
I’m sorry. But Millia looks absolutely relentless. This is Week 1 shit. We already have relaunch combos and Oki setups? God damn I cannot wait for Japan to dig into this game more because that round was ILLEGAL.
I swear i am gonna lab monster this game 100x more than i did BBBR (I spent like 5 hours a day in that training mode). Wanna get in there with basically the whole cast.

Just waiting for Arc to add force breaks back. Game won’t be unplayable without them, but a lot of people want them back, and Arc has a good track record of cooperating with the community for balance/gameplay tweaks. Release dates/locations on the other hand…
Honestly that flower super mode into bad moon over and over seems … kinda OP. To be fair though most of the shit they are doing is actually just the day 1 combo’s from +R so that just means her combo’s are really similar just now with some j.D. Rest of that is just typical Millia flow chart stuff. Also I’ve been seeing ALOT of unsafe H Tandem so all the stuff they are using as setups isn’t necessarily air tight. She is basically like Faust her core game plan hasn’t changed much at all, plus she has always been IMPOSSIBLE to block. That super mode though giving her bad moon +frames for repeated mixups in the corner is kinda gross though … then it combo’s on hit if you didn’t manage to block the unsightable overhead …
Game looks fun but I agree Forcebreaks or some 25% meter option would be kinda interesting.
Also my favorite strategy to see currently his hammerfall then YRC when you take a hit on armor then punish their normal with potbuster. It is HILARIOUS.
Ky has meterless double uppercut in the corner again. Which is sexy. Honestly only characters I haven’t seen do ANYTHING impressive yet is Sol and Pot.
Man Ky with just flat out long hair looks better than the ponytail. He actually kinda looks like nobility. I wonder if they were planning to have the hair tie fall off from the beginning, because really they should have just made it that.
Seeing XRD YRC remind me of Phantom Breakers Slipshift. Slow downs every where. Glade I learned to deal with them in PBE or ekse I may been with the nay sayers as well.
