I will say this, starting with Reloaded seems terrible but they are actively building up to AC+R so in the respect I think the finished product will be down the road with a more evolved system and character tweaks. I dont mind if we get console port by summer.
At this point any complaint shouldn’t really about the current mechanics but whether or not they’ll be able to do patches to fix them. Its going to be some bullshit if they we’ll have to wait for a brand new game to come out before they fix anything. If shit sucks, throw everybody a bone and fix it. If we are gonna have to wait for a brand new version, that shit better be DLC.
I know the complexity is what makes Guilty Gear the game we love, but a little simplification wouldn’t kill anybody. AC+R is kind of intimidating to get into when you see all the Slashbacks, impossible dust, instant air faultless defense, FRCs that actually have to be practiced (1-4 framers mostly), and some character specific shit (Eddie, I No). I do admire Arc for trying to keep the hardcore community in mind by keeping the RC system in a way that isn’t so intimidating and making the concept behind impossible dust into an actual system mechanic.
The roman cancel freeze seems just about right for me, though I wouldn’t mind it being a bit faster for mixup purposes. Danger time activation time doesn’t bother me nearly as much and I’m confused as to why some are making such a huge deal over it. Hellfire is basically awakening and I don’t see much wrong with that. Didn’t GG already make you take less damage in the form of guts?

BTW, nice Ad Hominem, the fact that i could or couldn’t do a good game doesn’t take away the fact that there are a lot of questionable desicions behind some of those mechanics and that showing concern about them is in no way something bad.
I am not against simplification, i have made this clear multiple times.
The only thing that i am against is to take away options in the name of simplification, which with the desicion of basing on crap reload takes away years of fine tuning.
So far the only character who has received anything to compensate for the loss is Ky who btw looks really interesting with all the new tools, the rest meh.

Nope, but one thing for sure is to not add shit that is not necesary or hinders what the game is know for, all of the new stuff on GGXturd will affect the pace of the game, BS has the potential to even hinder it more than the other depending on the changes that gets (or doesn’t) between this final local test and the release of the game by the middle of this month. It has the potential to shift the the game from offensive to defensive just by the way that it works right now.
Call me when you are done bitching about an unreleased game which you have yet to say real match footage of, nor know the ins and outs of its mechanics.

Seeing the videos for the new Guilty Gear, the freeze after a FRC (or whatever it’s called now) doesn’t bother me. The Danger Mode is kinda funny, but another feature that doesn’t bother me. The only thing that bothers me about Danger Mode it stops the pace of the action for an entire like 3 seconds. I feel like that just disrupts the flow the game, ya know? The “Danger Flash” needs to be shorten by half the time.
But otherwise, what else?
Game looks perfectly fine, and Ky’s new stuff looks fun as fuck.
