The PS2’s specs won’t allow for 720p at all, but one could hope for the inclusion of it if there was a PSN version unless there’s something in the game’s code that’s somehow preventing it.

I would buy AC+ in a heartbeat, and have it preordered like I did AC.
The story mode in XX was amazing, and I would buy the game just for that.
And on the topic of new games, release Hakuto no Ken and Sengoku Basara X for the US PS2!! >.<
Capcom has the license for Sengoku Basara, so I doubt Aksys could release that.
The reactions on SRK are quite different from those on Dustloop. Speaking as a casual-ish player, I’d probably get it. New story mode is awesome, Kliff and Justice are cool, and System Direction is something I always enjoy. However, don’t expect the hardcore tournament guys to get it. Still, players like myself that aren’t super-competitive will be all over it.

Well, I definitely don’t hate it, but it’s hard to believe that so many people here want a US release of it. I mainly bought it though becaus I fucking love the show. The game is fun casually, but I don’t know 1 from 2 in that damn game when it comes to doing anything advanced x.x

Yes, I’d buy it as long as it was $30 or cheaper. I already have a US copy of AC, and a Japanese copy of AC+, but it would be worth it for the translated story mode.
Add netcode and it turns into an instant buy no matter the price. Better yet, add GGPO and watch as money just spews out of my wallet.
BTW Aksys, thank you for being a great company. It’s nice to see an American publisher taking care of the hardcore fighting game crowd :woot:

I gotta admit i went from seeing Aksys as the People who made guilty gear. (or is that arc?) to really respecting there hustle and games. BF and blazblue have been really refreshing to play.
Aksys Games is a localization company with close ties to Arc System Works.
I’d probably trade in my existing Accent Core release and buy Plus if it came out here, I won’t lie. That’s also contingent on no extra bugs being present, however.
Whereas if you somehow managed to partner with Dimps and convinced them to port Rumble Fish 2 to 360 / PS3, and then localized it, I’d have it preordered in a heartbeat. Rumble Fish forever!
As a PSN release, this would be awesome!! Especially since we then had a reasonable chance for Europe.
Netplay a plus but optional in that case. Also, no minor cuts in quality of backgrounds or overlays anymore. True arcade perfection!!.. which they maybe wouldn’t want. I mean, the arcade version should have SOME benefit still, no?
online mode will make this an instant buy for pretty much anyone who plays remotely competitvely. someone on DL said it best “online = american arcades.” srsly aksys, do it.
