Anyone ever play Kingdom Under Fire?

I was severely disappointed when the Orc Axeriders where NOT riding axes.

Quick details -

-It’s an action/strategy game, with RTS elements, i.e. you can command squads. It’s more like Dynasty Warriors, than an RTS title.
-Supposedly, it’s about 80/85% done, already.
-It takes place a few years after the original GG.
-They’ve been working on this for 9 years.
-Characters control a “master”, and a male unit.

Not sure how many of you know, but the original Guilty Gear pitch was a 3-D fighting game, and it actually went into development before being switched to a 2-D one. So this progression to a 3-D title was inevitable. Theres screens of the early development. When I find them again, I’ll post them.

Guilty Gear 2 Overture is not a fighting game at all but an action title with adventure elements

When in contact with enemy units, the battle then becomes more synonymous to a 3D fighting game.

Guilty Gear 2 Overture is currently 80% complete, but no release date has yet been announced.

Guilty Gear’s poster boy, Sol Badguy, looks to be taking center stage in Overture and is being joined by a newcomer, Sin, who bares quite the resemblance to fellow cover child Ky Kiske, among others - referred to as “Masters” in this game.

Playing as Sol Badguy, your goal is to destroy an enemy stronghold known as the Master Ghost.

In addition to the combat, the game includes a strategy component. During battle, you can open up a briefing window. From here, you can plan your strategy for the battle field as a whole, placing orders for new units and sending orders to your current set of units.

Okay, the only way this game is getting play outta me is if they have more characters. So far I’ve seen 3 faggot ass characters that I don’t like. Never was a Sol fan, Ky is gay, and Sin looks ever gayer than Ky.

Baiken, Dizzy, or Millia gotta show up or something.

Did you not read the articles? It says this is a 3D fighting game; with RTS elements. And online will have a 1 vs 1 mode (without the RTS elements I assume).
