Definitely need to add more to my game, but playing him definitely gives me hope for what’s possible with Guile.

n8236 , guile is my main. I have been stuck in the 1700-2000 BP range with him. Seems my play style isn’t letting me get further than that. Just send me a message or friend me. I’ll love to see how a pro guile plays.
I’m pretty new to fighting games and would love to get some matches in to learn from you all. I will be sending a friends request to some of you guys later tonight and hopefully we’ll be able to get some games in.
I use a controller as well. This is what my setup for Guile is.
square - Jab
Triangle - Medium
X - Short Kick
O - Medium Kick
L1 - Focus Attack
L2 - 3K
R1 - Fierce Punch
R2 - Fierce Kick
(Yah, I only change one button. And that’s only because I don’t see a need for having a 3P especially for Guile. He doesn’t have a move that requires 3P). Plus, it’s easier to pull off the Focus Attack on the fly without having to worry if you pressed only the medium punch or the medium kick only.
For all other characters I use the default setup

I have just switched from fightpad to stick, so im still learning how to perform most bnbs again on instinct and my jump timing is really throwing me off!

To all the Guiles out there, I was #2 in CP and #5 in GP tonight so there is hope for Guile after all! Ok I did play a bunch of Blanka too…but mostly Guile!
