I need help with Guile that includes footsies and just improving my overall game with him. For the Guile experts out there…I’m here to learn. So if anyone can offer me some pointers from my battles, that would be great.
I’ve kinda retired from PSN tbh, not just because I like my SNES-playing JBed PS3 
but I figure I’m kinda wasting my time trying to level up right now when the entire game/balance ratio is going to be completely different within a few months, Guile included (expect him to be back around ST status next time around, count on it). It’s really a break from SF4 in general… the inherent gameplay flaws in the 4 series just kinda piss me off because it rewards bad execution, bad play in general, shitty throws and super safe defensive options all to attract the casuals. SF2 succeeded at the perfect balance of simple and deep gameplay, whereas SF4 sacrifices complexity and depth for an easier learning curve and more cheap “wow” factor. Playing online made me a worse player offline… not taking away from all the awesome players I’ve met and learned from. I’ll probably jump back on when the new build is released but for now I’m cool with HDR, A2 and T6. Just a few things changed here and there to the general game engine and Super 4 would be the BEST SF game ever hands-down.
hey guys I just got my new internet install yesterday. So far it’s way faster. So anyone want to play me, there should be considerably less lag. I definitely want to see how laggy my internet is, but I’m getting 5 bar connections left and right, while on my old internet, I could barely get 3 bars.

Balrog/Bison/Honda player here (in order of experience). Very rusty, looking to get my bearings back as I haven’t been playing very much at all in the past few months, and have been getting facerolled by everyone lately, no matter how bad/new they are to the game. I’m looking to get some more Guile variety, as playing the same one over and over won’t help me much, (IRL plays Guile.)
Since PSN isn’t very friendly when it comes to lag, I’m looking to minimize that issue as much as possible. I live in SF, CA, so I’d be willing to train with anyone in the west coast. Hoping for at least 4+ bars.
Keep in mind, I’m very rusty, so it might take some matches before I get used to playing again.

I’d love to see your Guile if he’s as good as your Bison. Your Bison (I remember versing you on PSN a while ago) gave me serious problems - and was probably one of the worst matches (performance-wise) I’ve ever had against him. I was wasted.

I remmember me averaging 3500-4000 PP on previous ssf4, now on AE I am averaging 2500-3000. Three possible things. The PP scoring is different. The people who still play this game are less noobs. Or, I definetly suck more.
PP scoring is really different, I lose like 120 one match, and gain 20 the next match =.=
