I use Shoryuken wiki, and I confirm the frame data is correct by trial and error. Ahgama is correct, 99% is correct and up to date on Shoryuken wiki.

Guys, has anyone managed to FADC a FK into U1? Seems that in the video above it worked against Giefs U1. I can dash U1 pretty easily, but it wiffs after a FK
you don’t have enough charge to do U1 after a FK x FADC because you need db to keep the charge and doing a FK breaks that charge.
it only works in the video because of the Ultra freeze. It allows enough frames to charge db necessary for U1.
Guile basically does the FK before the freeze, charges db during the freeze, and then FADC U1 after the freeze.

Nemesis, what do you mean by delayed charge cancelling? Is it charge, forward, back punch for the boom?
Cancelling the charge at the last possible active frame of the normal. It makes up for neat higher damage output combos such as…
- Jump in HK > cr.mp xx boom > Close standing HP xx boom > GHK > HK Flashkick. (Forgot to look at the damage output for this one but it’s kind of trickier).
- Jump in HK > cr.mp xx ex boom > cr.mp xx ex flashkick. 407 dmg
Hey, I just started playing guile and I was wondering what his best punish combo is. I pretty much just do cr. mp>heavy fk. or if stunned jump in hk>cr. mp>heavy fk. i know i can be getting more, but idk what to do. i also need to work on my movement but that’ll just come in time
I’d say mess around more with df.hk punishes. It has it’s weird moments, like whiffing on characters who might have their super unsafe move recover low to the ground or far away (Guy comes to mind) but I have been experimenting with using it more for a lot of weird stuff. Like if Zangief whiffs a PPP lariat, I’ll walk as close as I can, df.hk it, then link it to a backfist. Same thing for if I backdash a focus attack.
Thing is, the damage can be pretty comparable to c.mp xx hk flashkick. (200 for that, something like 220 for the df.hk > backfist) I think that certainly beats doing c.lp > c.lp > s.lp > s.hp, risking a one frame link for less damage. However, those three are the most common, practical punishes for stuff. Keep in mind that if they whiff something big like a heavy DP or an Ultra, try to throw in a crumple and get freaky with UDK combos. They are the freakiest of freaky.
If you get a clean jump in on a standing opponent…
Jump in HK > DF.HK > HK Flashkick. It’s like 300+ dmg. easy.
best jumpin punish on stun is j.HK, GHK, hk.Fk.
If your opponent is cornered UDK, c.mp, SB, Sweep
J.hk, s.hp > hk.FK does more dmg than if you use df.hk instead.
If you’re able to meaty UDK a stunned opponent, you can get enough charge to combo c.mp FK as well. Bear in mind Guile can connect nj.hp with UDK as well which is good dmg if opponent is stunned.
However, the s.hp xx hk.fk timing is very strict off of the j.hk. The GHK route pretty much ensures you have charge for a fk.
That said, if you can nail it 100% of the time, that would be more advisable.
How do I do Guile’s lk FK into U2 as seen in this video (last round near the very end): I can do lk FK as an AA and hit someone at the peak of their jump and then EX FK so LOGICALLY I have the charge down-pat- but can’t get the U2 to even come out in time. Am I missing something? Can it only be done on certain characters too apart from Seth? Thanks.

Again… If you are already aware of what it takes to land AA fk then juggle with EX FK, there is nothing else to know other than to just do a different follow up and it will work.
Stop over-analyzing and just go play the game. You’re studying it as if it’s on your final exam. On second thought, have you even played the game? Majority of the questions asked by you are easily answered by simply playing the game. Post your matches up.

I started doing some of those combos in the beginning quite abit with the only difference that I’ve started omitting a third normal after the fadc’s. Definitely worth getting the hang of learning.
