That’s all I actually read from your post. Gonna go cry now.
This was such a great movie, but the 3D version was nice as well. Made me jump when certain things was thrown at the screen. I love how all the members of the team meet unintentionally and decided to officially be a team at the end. Stories like that really get to me for some reason. The characters were exceptional, except that Walking Dead guy. His voice pissed me the fuck off but that whistle attack thing he did was wicked. I honestly had low expectations for this movie. I knew it was Marvel (which means it’s for the most part good), but the previews weren’t really convincing on top of me not knowing what the hell GotG was in the first place. But it was definitely a great watch. Gotta say Groot and Gamora were my top favorites but I loved all of em.
Zoe Saldana tho… Lawd Jesus

Saw the movie opening week, and now I want to see it again in 3d great movie, up there with Avenger’s. My only gripes were Nebula and Ronin being under developed, but I guess you can’t get Loki in every film. I would’ve liked seeing Ronin hit some people with his hammer, not just tossing blasts from it.
Reminds me Judge Dredd’s outfit, not a bad thing though.
…I’ve seen this movie 3 times now, mainly because friends and family wanted to see it at different times, but I didn’t kick up any fuss.
I’ve seen it in IMAX 3D, standard 3D and standard 2D. Standard 3D was the most enjoyable, my screen was a little too dark in parts but overall the colours just popped more, and I didn’t have that weird scale problem I experienced in IMAX.
Because both large-ish and I don’t know how deep one wants to go into with spoiler territory still…

I will never get tired of these mashups.[/details]
…Holy shit, that would be perfect. Almost literally.
That would be goddamn IDEAL…
Going on the assumption that the Celestials are non-evil in the MCU, that they are far beyond us and our capabilities, but not above us(like with Transformers, I suppose), for this, like Galactus(who that depends on the writer with, naturally), just doing what they do because they have to:
Say the Guardians meet the Celestials later on in the movies, while Thanos is holding most of the Gems and it is now known what he is after he has done horrific things now that he doesn’t have to do it quietly, and some non-Celestial character randomly asks “Why did you destroy planets with the Gems?”
Eson the Searcher speaks up from the horde of them and says “…We were looking for the Gems, in an attempt to preclude the terrible series of events that has happened and is going on around you now. …We could not reveal during those times that Thanos looked to return all that is, EVERYTHING, to nothing, to void, as he would operate his machinations in plain sight rather than the shadows, and many more would have died horribly then than how many have now. So the knowledge that he was after the annihilation(THAT TITLE DROP I JUST DID) of all could not be common knowledge, not as things were…”
“Forgive us.”
(I just marked out THINKING about that happening)
Holy shit.
If Marvel does that,

fucking FREE.
lol now I want Peter Cullen to voice a Celestial at some point.
Final movie still has to be the universal fault (caused by all the event/wars) leading into an invasion of the “Cancerverse” led by Lord Mar-vell… who himself is the servant of the “Many Angled Ones”, one of which is none other than Shuma-frickin’-Gorath.
Saw it again for the 4th time coz of my girl. Surprisingly the cinema is still almost full. Can’t believe my little sis saw it 5 times with her friends in singapore.
Apparently girls loved the film. Peter Quill’s pelvic sorcery is super effective!
Between groot and andy from parks and rec the females are driven to this movie
My only gripe is why doesn’t Thanos peel his ass off his floating chair and collect the gems himself like in “Infinity Quest”
Exposing power mad people like Loki and Ronan to elements of ultimate power probably isn’t the smartest of plans.
Still hoping for umvc3 ultra
With thanos, venom, juggernaut, cyclops…
That ipad game makes me mad
I’m surprised people in here actually like the Avengers movie. Like, for what? Its aight at best, and is basically a hulk and iron man movie. Iron man 3 for me was better then the avengers, and that wasnt that great a flick at all, but at least when iron man wasnt being iron man, i didnt mind watching it, where i just got bored to tears in avengers, and the fight scenes were better in iron man 3 then avengers, even with tony not even really being in his suit like that.
Also, outside of any comic variations in the movie, what is the iron man 2 hate about? I still dont get it. Is it because tony danced in his iron man suit? Iron man 2 was dope, and the only iron man i watch multiple times a month, even though iron man 1 is still mad dope.
I mean, i dont wanna get into debating opinions we each have on marvel movies, but ive seen a lot of people like something or shit on something, but ive only seen like 2 other people then myself actually breakdown what they liked or didnt, and made sense of the good and the bad. Eh, just curious.

I like dat helmet. I prefer him just get in da “space spandex” though. These fake nerd directors need to get off of the, that shit looks silly thing, and start putting more characters in their iconic outfits. I dont wanna see richard rider in another slightly different cheap looking nova corp outfit. He needs to be in the below. Make him look like a bad ass for fucks sake, and stop trying to tone characters down in the marvel universe because you think the audience will laugh. These directors are such tools sometimes, even when they make dope shit.

We can assume for now thanos is sending other people to do his dirty work out of ego (thanos has a lot of that), and to test the waters and see who comes to the defense of the infinity stones, as to not get himself into a battle with very powerful beings too early on in the gathering process. I’m sure the writers will figure it out, and likely they will combine ego with something similar to him having a bigger plan, testing out who is loyal to him, testing the waters for powerful good guys that might provide him with some trouble, etc…
I was definitely expecting thanos to make a showing at the end of gotg and snatch that stone, and me to be like BRUH, and pass out. There was no mention of the nova force in gotg that i remember, i could be wrong, so maybe they will be using the infinity stone as a source for power for richard rider in the future.
The nova prime in gotg was just some old woman with no powers, but she should be very powerful as the highest ranking nova corp member with access to the nova force, so i think they will use the infinity stone to create Nova’s character in gotg 2, and give him his powers, with maybe even a showing in avengers 2.
Iron Man 2 was meh because it felt totally irrelevant, the villains were lame (though the race interruption scene is very awesome), problems were solved anticlimactically… Basically, the movie starts out strong with an actual problem and actually threatening villain, but then throws it all away. After the first half hour, you never feel like anything’s at stake.
And keep in mind that I still enjoyed the movie. I was just rolling my eyes a lot more than in the better movies.
There’s dumb in Avengers, too. But the movie’s a riot on the whole. It PILES on the fanservice without feeling cloying about it. It gives everyone good moments. It has great pacing. The stuff happening feels consequential, and the fights feel like the protagonists are struggling.
Word. I’m making it a thing to make sure i watch capt 2 and avengers in full this weekend uninterrupted, even though ive already seen avengers like 4 times in full, but i’ll double check if im just trippin. Those two movies i just dont get the love, and then i equally dont understand how dark worlds gets the hate it does, when i thought that shit was hella dope, and top 5 easy, but no one likes thor i guess(lol).
GotG is probably the best movie of the year after Xmen DotFP.
Never thought that i would like it as i did.
Hmmmm… Nah, I’d rate GotG over Future Past. I loved Future Past too, but the FUCKING HELL YES feeling I had walking out of the theatre after Guardians can’t be beat.
Yep, that music and that Groot will do that to you.
I agree with thanos not collecting the stones himself because of ego and just testing the waters. This way he learned that earth should not be underestimated and will make his next plan. Also he may be watching what the stones can do to the “boys” that uses them.

He’s a good looking asshole who treats women badly…of course girls are gonna love this film. Although some women have taken exception to it…http://www.salon.com/2014/08/06/guardians_of_the_galaxy_passes_the_bechdel_test_still_fails_women_partner/
Articles like that are the reason I hope feminism never goes away…shit is just so profoundly nonsensical that it manages to become brilliant.

Along with a few other poisons in the world, I’ve come to the conclusion that despite the fact that a lot of women have been
harshly wronged in some way that of course cause them to remain a certain way the rest of their lives (some, not all), it’s
people like this that I know are literally incapable of viewing the world any other way, except that it’s ‘out to get them’.
It’s pretty pathetic really. Unbelievably so in fact. That they’ll go to stretches to find sexism/whatever where it doesn’t even exist—or like these movies, take the most harmless things and twist them til they fit their agenda. All one can do at times is just sit there and be like:
“w-o-w…” —like witnessing something awe-inspiring from the roadside. LMFAO.
I loved this movie. It was pretty great. Had it’s laughs, but some of you are wasting too much money on it IMO. Once at the theatre
was enough for me. Waiting for BR release, and will of course go into my comics-movies collection, and be done with it.
