You now must register yourself on Tonamento BEFORE coming to the tournament!!! We are working on how to actually implement this feature into use for tournament day. At the moment you should be registering online YOURSELF before hand. The laptop will most likely remain at the front of the store, you give your money to John/Mike/Myself and he confirms that you have paid you get your name checked and you are now entered into the tournament.
This is a requirement in order for you to enter the tournament for here on in. You can also enter even if you are not 100% sure that you will attend. If you do not show up to the venue and choose to participate in the tournament your name will not be confirmed and you simply will not be put into the bracket. Simple, right? I know you would agree!
There is NO REASON that you should not be able to get to a computer with network access and sign up and register. If this is a problem for any of you let me or Mike know before hand and we will solve whatever internet access problem you might have.

Also… what kind of interest would there be in running Marvel off the cab at the store? Would you guys enter? Steve, Yipes, etc etc? Spooky said he has the right equipment to stream from the cab so if the interest is there we’ll do it.

You guys cannot stroll in at 6:30, 6:45, or 7. You need to be here by 6 so you can sign up. Damdai changed up how tonamento works, so now it is required that each participant logs in themselves and sign up for our tournament. THIS IS REQUIRED FOR YOU TO BE PUT INTO THE BRACKET!!!**
You can also Register for the tournament online ahead of time. The link is here. There are 2 super brackets. The one that is 5 dollar entry is the new character only tournament and the 10 dollar entry tournament is the regular bracket. Just because you sign up here does not mean you are automatically in the bracket. You need to show up and sign up in the front with john before you are confirmed for the bracket. The tournament will probably start a little bit later due to this being the first time that we use this system. Please come on time so we wouldn’t have to delay the event.
If your friends don’t check SRK you better tell them. Everyone must do this. There are no exceptions.
The cab would be great except for that fact that it needs to be rewired… its very unresponsive.

Art, Steve, myself, and Mike are the only ones to register so far. So if you want things to start on time you better do this before hand. It takes all of 5 minutes. WHY HAVE YOU NOT DONE THIS YET?!?!?!
The reason I say run Marvel (and yes I mean MvC2 MikeG) at all is two-fold… first off you can almost gaurantee turnout off the SSFIV crowd alone… Me, Sanford, Yipes, Lincoln, Erik, Liston, Matrix, Mike Infinte, Rahsaan, Pungza… are all old MvC2 heads, thats already 10 ppl off bat. Second reason is you should be able to get others out the woodwork because I know there are marvel players that are thristy to shake off the rust due to Seasons Beatings putting a 3k pot on top8 of Marvel2, and theres little time between now and then so I see this as a good place for NY to come and see where they at.
I remember talking to you guys about it last time about it and you all said you would come. I have a DC but i lack Marvel and stick(s). So just get at me one way or another and let’s work something out.
If we can gather the equipment i see no problem at all in running it. Just make sure the turnout is there! Side games are always outshined by SF4.
I have the game, but dun have sticks either, mostly played in tournaments with Arcade Cabinents(Read: CF, lol), Padded it up, or Borrowed a Stick… so I cant help there, we’ll talk tommorrow
