He’s probably the funniest comic relief in the game that’s not vile or disgusting… Poor poor Wade… I actually ended feeling really bad for Wade. Almost to the point where I couldn’t laugh at Trevor’s shenanigans anymore… Almost.
I believe heists will be unlocked when you accumulate enough job points, you spend job points attempting a heist.
My guess is the ultimate goal is MMO style raids, where everyone has to be on the ball. If you mess up, you lose, and you can’t just replay until you get back enough job points.
bigger heists = more job points = harder to pull off
easier heists = less job points = eaiser to pull off
Plus, you’ll need to do a lot of prep work for the heists, like getting armored cars/getaway vehicles stashed, weaponry, etc. I really wish they would have fleshed out more roles, I’d love to be able to make a hacker type character that sucks at gunplay, and is a pacifist, but is needed for hacking jobs
(hack atms, take down security systems, mini games from your laptop that can lead to hacking info and lead to big scores, stealing money via the internet, etc).
Maybe in a future game or a future patch at least.
i felt really bad for wade and floyd. especially floyd, dude had no character progression. he was a pansy, then he was trevor’s bitch, then he died.
trevor showing more compassion for the guy he was torturing once but not the guy he was living with and torturing multiple times was pretty fucked up. the more i think about this game the less i like everyone of the main characters
Like I said, only somewhat. Considering how limited it all is, concessions had to be made.

No gloves, no belts, no leggings kinda makes it hard to do. Plus no ability to just modify the color right out on anything… I imagine this would have been easy as hell to pull off in Saint’s Row.
Some of this GTAO shit should have been in single player, like the safehouses and gestures.

Yeah that ones kinda rough. Saints row did have some cool creators. I managed to make Yoko from gurren lagann with what I’d say is about 80-90% accuracy including clothing and all that in SR3.

I bought myself the 6 car garage apartment, picked an area that should have had a decent view… only all my windows are closed and I don’t get a fucking view anyway, god damn it
Yeah … it would be nice if they’d let you do a tour of the apartment before you bought it. Does kind of suck to throw down that much money blindly.
I also find it strange that they have a TV and yet as soon as you sit down to watch it, you get a message that you’ll be kicked if you idle for too long, even in a solo session. What’s the point of having the TV then?
Maybe they’ll let you choose roles before the heist, as opposed to being locked in the entire time. They could have each role tied to a stat, like the hacker could be based on stealth, gunner based on shooting, getaway based on driving/flying depending on the job, etc.
I actually did a Lester mission once where they assigned roles. It worked like picking teams in a versus mode. There was only two roles in that mission though. Snipers and transporters. You had to steal a helicopter from a heavily guarded landing pad.
I can finally stop worrying about mission payout though. Got 2.5mil in the bank. Now I can just play the missions without worrying about scrounging up the cash for ammo and car repairs.

So I robbed a store and killed the clerk but i got locked in the store…has that happened to you guys?

That means you werent paying attention at one point and he hit the button real fast. If you arent on point they lock you in the store with them and you basically face a firing squad until death.
Return of the pro-tip:
- Dont kill the clerk. Instant 3 star. Helicopters arent fun.
- After he gives the money, walk backwards out of the store while pointing your gun at him. That way he doesnt have the chance to pull his own or hit a button.
- Never stop aiming at him or look around. Thats how you get locked in the store.
- Crime only pays sometimes. Smart crime always pays.
Here’s some info for those trying to get dat paper in single player.
First assassination mission (hotel), BettaPharm stocks cap at 80% the first time you do it. If you save after the mission and load that save, the cap shrinks to 50%. Do NOT save/load after the mission if you want max money return.
This is something I discovered first week game dropped but I just confirmed with second playthrough.

My favorites are the people that life their gang-life fantasy in a video game. Running around dropping people is fine, but talking like youre hard when you do it makes you look like a bitch.
