Big ol update for GTA Online on both consoles. If you couldnt get past that initial tutorial race, you should be able to now. My friend lich tried everyday since tuesday to get online. He tried it today and it worked on that first try.
They also supposedly fixed losing money, characters, rep, all that shit.

But I’m def making more money than first playthrough. Mike had $900,000 last time, now he has 1.1 million at the same point of the game. F had $200k, now its $395k.
I started getting 500k with Michael and 300k with Franklin. 12 hours of continous play doing story mode. AMA.
Troll tips for online:
-Getting ran over by a car/running people over, you cant do shit during your recovery animation and you can also take damage, so they can just hover over your body back n fourth and pancake you until you die. Cant do shit.
-Turn on passive mode and trick people into thinking youre invulnerable, then follow them a bit, turn it off when they get comfortable then blow their brains out. Rinse repeat.
-Use a car to wedge open stores and then chuck grenades inside to cook people trying to run for cover.
-camping at ATMS
-Making road blocks with damaged cars
Pro Tip: You don’t need ATMs. You can deposit cash by going to your phone internet, money and services, then the bank option at the bottom below the properties option.
I do that now to avoid getting sniped at an ATM.
I couldn’t find an atm so I went to the page webpage to try to locate one. I saw that you could deposit on your phone and I was amped. Now my dude is like me in real life. I NEVER carry cash lol.

Just bought a 2 car garage and now I’m at below $1000. I’ll be saving up for a nice apartment so I have somewhere to take the strippers.

Only thing im saving up for now is high end cars. I already got a 205k apartment and a 10 car garage. The only problem is that I can’t buy cars until they fix my issue with ingame internet in multiplayer.
I wanted an apartment first too, but I went with a garage just so I’d have a place to hide in case of a bounty getting placed on me.
You can hide in apartments too, but I doubt it’s possible to afford one by rank 10.
Owning in Deathmatches are pretty easy. I earn tons of Exp by winning those usually by taking the high ground and picking off the fools running around like they are playing Call of Booty.
I do get some hatemail for using highground but why the hell are you playing a 3rd person shooter online if you won’t take advantage of the environment?
If Rockstar is really listening there should be 100,000 posts about how they have the dumbest character creation in all times. This shit is a step backwards instead of forwards, I’d expect this shit to be one of the first character makers back in the early 90’s before people figured out how to morph individual body parts. But for this to be the character creation in a billionaire blockbuster?
