Yea. Joined a random lobby and caught some bodies. Left that and tried joining the actual story for online and ended up doing nothing but waiting for the first race to start. That was after a fuckload of trying to get it to even do anything. lol.
So the black directional input needs to be a darkish blue? I’m also going to make the gray circle larger.
Believe it or not I got to play deathwatch earlier before the full force of GTA players hit.

Nah I meant I made the crew color a darkish blue, for the shirt and possible other stuff. The logo color is fine I think, just make sure the bottom layer is transparent instead of white
I made a character, got stuck at the first race, now cloud servers are down.
Launch day with one of the biggest games in awhile is no joke
I didnt see the transparent option lol. I wish they gave the option to host the game locally like in GTA4. that would take a lot of stress off the servers. It would also let people actually play online.
Finally got going, did a few intro missions, got into a death match, and it froze on me lol

I can’t get on. Fucking cloud servers keep going down. I only managed to create my character
Me and Willy managed to play for a bit. But this most certainly isnt an optimized experience right now. It likes to put you in different lobbies after a mission and then boot you out to singleplayer. One thing I do like though is that the ACTUAL missions, have a player limit on them, and every player that was in the mission shows up in the ending cutscene.
Managed to get through by choosing a solo session only to get booted when I try to do a mission. The session dropping also corrupted my character data so I have to recreate her. I’m not touching this again until it’s stable
I wish R* all the luck in the world. They’ve been putting effort into a still-not-yet-released patch for game fixes, still working on Android and WP versions of the companion apps, and now they throw more dirt on themselves by having to deal with GTA Online server hammering and probably even more glitches associated with that.
Eh.
Speaking of glitches, I lost connection to the GTA Online server, which auto switched me back to single player. Afterwards i couldnt bring up the character switch wheel. Killed myself to reset it and I still couldnt switch. Restarted the game entirely and it worked again.
Later on I got booted off again, and when it brought me back to single player, it showed the transition scene, then I was locked into a camera slightly underneath the map and could see half rendered objects through walls. I could switch characters but it would always bring me back to that camera. I brought up the weapons radial, killed myself with a grenade and it showed me the little scene of exiting the hospital. After the scene it took me back to that camera position again. Once more I had to restart the game.
Hey how did you get Private games going when we were playing?
I actually wasnt doing that on purpose. It would search for a game for about 5 minutes, then it would just give me my own game.
