I am slowly liking all the radio stations now, FlyLo Fm is my favorite. I even heard Carl from ATHF in one of its station promos The only annoying thing I hate in the game are the complete lack of taxis

There’s only a few stations I actually enjoy right now. There’s the pop one, Los Santos radio, west coast classics and some other one that kinds plays Techno stuff. I don’t remember if it’s channel X or rebel radio, but ones of those is hands down the worst station in the game.

Also if you think this game has a weak radio line up, just remember the trash that was GTA4 radio. The only likeable thing about it was the commercials.

Channel X is that rage music that Trevor is always listening to. And Rebel Radio is country.

Fuck all this “GTA4 radio sucks” business. Between the Jazz station, that mellow “The Journey” station, the NY rap station and “Tom Vek - One Horse Race”… GTA4 radio was bomb. Plus that foreign station and the song you hear when Roman picks you up in the beginning. Gawdly.

THE FOURTH PROTAGONIST
In GTA Online, you don’t play as GTA V protagonists Franklin, Michael, or Trevor. Instead you create your own unique male or female. This noob steps off a plane into Los Santos, and from there you create a unique story with your own actions. But before you write your future, you need to sculpt your past in the character creator.
“I’ve always felt character creators in games to be a bit wacky - pulling the ears and noses to change the way they look seems wrong,” says Rockstar North president Leslie Benzies. “That’s not how humans are made in the real world. Normally it involves a man, a woman, and some sexy time.”
"This is the basis of how we do it in GTA Online: Choose your mom, dad, and grandparents, then out pops your character. You then spend time choosing your lifestyle, making choices about the kinds of things your character spends time doing, whether they spend more time partying or sitting on the couch or doing criminal activities than sleeping and being athletic - and your character is complete."
The skills you start with are based on the lifestyle you have chosen for your character, but just like the three GTA V protagonists, you can upgrade your various skills, buy new property, and customize your look by spending money on haircuts, tattoos, and clothing.

This was a small little section in a 3 page spread about how the online works. It sounds like character appearance will be randomized within certain criteria according to the relatives youve chosen. I wonder how big the pool of possibilities is.

ALSO, in cutscenes for missions, your character pulls a page from Claude in GTAIII. He/she is completely silent and does not speak in cutscenes at all.

I usually switch between Mirror Park and the Pop station.

The FlyLo stations has a few gems, and the funk station is pretty great at times as well.

How do you guys get those picture form in game? Is there some kind of thing with the phones and the rockstar club thing? or are you just on pc?

PC version isnt available. When you use the snapmatic thing on your phone while hooked up to an online service, PSN or XBL, and you have a Rockstar social club account tied to it, it saves your photos there. So you can just go to your profile on the computer, copy image URL, post it here. Thats how ive been doing it anyway.

If I had to rank the stations ignoring the PSP addons:

SA > GTA III > GTA Vice City > GTA V > GTA LaD/BoGT > GTA IV

I’m a little torn for putting IV’s stations last, especially since it had a downtempo/ambient radio station, but… I really didn’t feel it as much, I might have to blame the game’s driving mechanisms for disrupting the flow I guess. That and the TV shows in IV were better.

Space station is growing on me a bit. West coast classics still best station imo

I like the music in 5, they could easily appeal to the current kiddies only with all that black flag lil wayne shit whatever is so called cool, but they keep it on a something for everybody tip, fuck i even like the country one!
Only station i am a bit disappointed with is blue ark, lee scratch perry is a legend but needs to stfu, all those tunes after 2000 are fucking horrible, even the old ones aint all that, i miss kjah that always had plenty of classics
