oh an after EXTENSIVE listening… i have to say
San Andreas Radio Stations >>> GTA IV Radio Stations
In SA i noticed how they made every song connect an have a meaning such as damn near every song was sampled from one another (listen closely or just read the credits) which really blew my mind… the old rock/alternative stations bumped thoroughly (The Who ownz). now GTA IV… i only find myself listening to the talk shows (that judge is hilarious)… they have a lot of stations but nothing keeps me glued… even the dj premier classic station (definitely thought that would of been better wit some serious ny feel…mobb deep… camp lo… songs made u think ny thoroughly) left me switchin… i dont know who was in charge but it (the stations) feel rushed…
has anyone learned how to add your own music cause i will make me my own list.
The GTAIV songs suck ass, IMO. I much preferred SA’s music list.
Of course there are a few good ones in there but on the whole, yeah.
if custom music is allowed then illmatic, ready to die, the imfamous mobb deep, and reasonable doubt will be bumping in the whip.
yeah i dont really like the radio stations in gta IV that much neither. if i hear swizz beats say swizzy one more time imma flip out lol. i still personally think that vice city had the better soundtrack(maybe because i’m a 80’s music nerd) then SA right after that.
I personally don’t pay much attention to the music in GTA4. I won’t even scroll through to see what I want to listen to, whatever is on when I hijack a car is what I go with. In fact, I pay more attention to the television more than the radio.

I’ve never felt let down by the music. It’s so many different stations that i’m always able to settle on something. Only station that pisses me off is The Beat. That wack swizz beats shit and Joell Ortiz (sorry, don’t like him) is all they ever play.

Stuckey is a hater. Joell Ortiz and Kanye is the only songs I look forward to hearing on that station, really. I’m kinda mad everything is mostly from 2007 and not much from 2008 except the Fat Joe/Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes… etc.
Honestly I vaguely remember the SA soundtrack. Maybe 3-4 songs, but come on… a soundtrack with Flashing Lights + Freakin U + Get It Shawty + Badder Than Dem = Win.
GTA4 soundtrack is pretty garbage…only track i really like the nas and mobb deep joints.
I mainly just listen to vibe tho
shoulda had more freestyles, kay slay, drama between rappers, more d block, etc.
my station would have been more:
g unit (mixtape g unit, not album stuff)
d block (styles, sheek, ap, bucky, etc.)
mobb deep (and prodigy’s hnic 2)
etc.
some hard shit thats dope.
