Wow that was brutal. One time I triple perfected a guy in a gouken mirror match, dude was pretty salty.
eh. I wouldn’t feel sorry for him. It’s a bad matchup… but he hardly attempted a serious fireball keepaway, nor did he use the counter in footsies for predictable akuma blockstrings.
So, I don’t know if yall care to see vanilla SF4 Gouken vids, but it’s not like there’s a vanilla Gouken forum anymore and nor is there Super for PC.

Well, i think he has an off day… it happen from times to times… Sometimes you just feel that your hands wont listen to your mind or even your mind just go blank…
Tokido as usual is beastly, so never let him take initiative… Must put him in defense mode, well, easier said than done…
During vanila times, i used to follow MirroR - a Taiwanese video clips on Gouken… He always spare with Gamerbee during that time… Now Gamerbee has become famous…
MirrorR has quit Gouken now and main Makoto.

i don’t know, Desora has never impressed me, i’ve yet to learn anything from him. watching Bullcat on the other hand is like “hey this guy’s smart, oh i never thought of doing that, man good reads”
Desora is solid, but that’s pretty much it, he’s very basic & doesn’t seem to know quite a few things about Gouken

It’s a first-to-20 set I did with xClimbatizEx, who can use most of the cast with pretty impressive results. I did pretty well for the first 10 games or so, but then he switches from his arcade stick to his keyboard, which he actually PREFERS (!!! he’s insane) and pulls away with a decisive lead to 20.
I just uploaded them, so the later vids might be pretty bad quality at first.

Anyway… Tired of getting hit by wake up srks??? Attack the reversal window. There are a few ways to lead into this but I’m not telling (for now), you have to figure that out in training mode.

Ryu is the only exception: He can trade with you with his Ultra and his EX Tatsu will hit Gouken (but who does that on wake up??).

Desora is the first Gouken ever who showed some very interesting stuff. Since the beginning of Street Fighter 4 i learned really much from him.
Without Desora, Gouken wouldnt be so familiar to us and many other players out there. In my opinion Desora started all this good stuff about Gouken in our whole community.
well i wasn’t around for SF4, i’ve watched him do Denjins in the corner & not follow up with anything after the bounce, dude has dropped the ball…just cause someone pioneered something doesn’t make em the best, & it’s rather silly to say no one else would have picked up Gouken if it weren’t for him
